These camps are designed to give campers the opportunity to fine tune/learn fundamental skills by teaching and correcting campers mechanics and techniques. The skills covered will include passing, serving, setting, hitting, blocking and floor defense. The camp will be led by current UAA Head Coach Chris Green and staff. Space limited to 48 campers. There is a lunch break from 12pm-1pm. Lunch will not be provided. 907-786-1226

BodyRite Training Teen Sport Camp - Jamesport, NY
We are excited to announce that BodyRite will be hosting a series of teen athletic camp programs this summer. Many young athletes are looking to improve their abilities in the off season and we believe BodyRite Teens Sport Camp will help enhance athletic skills and performance by using simple methods and sound science. The camp will run three separate sessions in two week sessions, starting July 11th from 11am to 2pm. The best part of the camp, is that no matter what ability level, the camper will progress. Whether an athlete or not, this camp is designed to help any teen interested in working out learn the basics of proper movement, strength training, and sound nutrition. We welcome all abilities ages 13 through 18. Coupling intelligent programming with sport specific nutrition, we will teach the athlete or interested fitness enthusiast how to move better for their sport, and how to fuel thier bodies properly for optimal performance.

Typing Club - Valle Verde Elementary
Room: B-7 Instructor: Sabine Kroeber Students learn typing skills using an online keyboarding program. Emphasis will be on teaching desirable keyboarding techniques, mastery of the keyboard and development of speed and accuracy. We will also practice how to apply keyboarding skills in real life situations: Typing and formatting in Word, creating word art in Wordle, and putting together a simple PowerPoint presentation. We will tour the keyboard and learn about lesser known keys like the tilde and carat on a keyboard treasure hunt! Returning students can continue to build their speed, while new students can lay the foundation for great typing success. Campers will go on a journey throughout a variety of American cultures and civilizations, learning about their daily lives, legends and stories, and art forms. Visits to MAMs newly installed Native American collection will be included to provide a closer look and inspiration. Travel from the prehistoric to the present in this whimsical tour throughout time. 2016 Summer Clinic Series - Both Days - Gladchuck Field Hockey Complex
Each day will comprise of a 3 hour clinic covering various skills and field hockey concepts along with competitive games. Additionally, on Saturday there will be a 2 hour play session in the late afternoon that will comprise only games. You have the option of signing up for 1 day or for both. The concepts covered each day will be different and the games at the end of each clinic will focus on concepts covered that day. All players will be coached by current Division 1 coaches, as well as current and former Division 1 players. Registration will be limited to the first 150 applicants and is open to players in grades 3-12. Players will be divided into skill groups based on age level and experience level. 413-504-8539

Our 1:5 staff to child ratio allows for lots of attention and focus spent encouraging your childs social development. Activities include movement, music, group games, water play, arts and crafts, and more! This is a great camp for children getting ready to enter kindergarten. Participants must be potty trained. Each day your child must bring a healthy lunch. Staff will provide a snack. This camp sells out every summer, so register early!
