3 and 4-Day FLEX Advanced Camp Don Law Golf Academy also offers the option of a FLEX Advanced camp. This option is designed with the summer junior tournament golfer and works with your busy summer schedule. With the FLEX option, you may sign up for a specific week and choose to attend 4 or 3 days within that week, to best suit your schedule. Upon registration, simply choose your preferred 3 or 4-day option and approximately a week before the start of the camp week you will be emailed to determine the exact days your child will be attending camp during that week. The choice of days of the week are yours, making this our most flexible camp option. The Advanced Camp offers serious game improvement for the serious junior golfer. The Founders and Evolution of Summer Resorts & Kids Camps - Readfield,
Four years ago Charles L. Day and Dale Potter-Clark began the process of gathering information for "Founders and Evolution of Summer Resorts..." right here at a Maranacook Community Education class. Fifty or more enthusiastic people gathered that evening to share stories and to learn about the resorts, hotels and kids’ camps that have existed in this immediate area. After years of conducting personal interviews, making site visits and doing exhaustive research Charles and Dale have published a 356 page book packed with 220+ vintage photos and information about more than forty establishments that have existed on the four lakes. Thrown in for good measure is “The Larches” on “Lake Myra” in Readfield. Included is the history of the railroad, steamboats and the trolley in this area as well as the various establishments, founders and directors. Dale will first talk about the process and some discoveries made while researching and writing the book and following this she will do a reading. She will be available to sell and sign books after the presentation. Potter-Clark will be offering three classes the spring of 2017 (Mar, Apr, May) at $12.50 each or $30 for all three. Proceeds will help fund a "Museum in the Streets" in Readfield.

Laurens First and Goal Football Camp PA - Lafayette Colleges Metzgar Athletic Campus
LFG Football Camp is a one day, instructional clinic for high school aged players taught by volunteer college coaches from across all divisions. It is a unique opportunity to hone your skills, learn new techniques and drills and showcase your talent to the more than 300 college coaches volunteering their time and talents to coach for the day. LFG is not a combine - there is no timed 40, vertical, height/weight measurement, ect. It is a learning experience open to players of all levels. Players are grouped by graduation year (rising seniors and underclassmen) and position chosen, and rotate through offensive and defensive sessions throughout the day. Kickers have the option of staying with the kicking specialist coaches for the entire day, or rotating to another position if desired. Quarterbacks also have the option of playing quarterback all day, but we encourage players to rotate to another position. Players do not wear pads or helmets, but we recommend mouthguards. Join us Saturday March 19th, from 12:00 - 2:00 pm at Smythe Park for some egg-celant fun! Only $5 per child to register. All registrations include jump castles, photo booth, face painting, craft station, Easter games, cookie decorating and a dozen candy filled eggs per child! (The Daniel Island POA will be providing all eggs for the hunt). Wristbands will be given out at check in on Saturday, March 19th from 10:45 am - 11:45 am only. Hunt starts at 12:00 pm sharp!
