Back by popular demand - Circus Camp! Learn Circus Skills such as Trapeze, juggling, globe, diabolo, rolla bolla, and tumbling! All students will participate in a circus show for parents on the last day of camp. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For half-day camp, bring a snack each day. Camp Houston Levee (CITs) - Houston Levee Park
Is your child too old for camp but still likes to have a little fun? Camp Houston Levee is seeking Counselors-In-Training for this years summer camp. Requirements include: * Must be at least 14 years old and a rising freshman in high school * Participate in the interview process * Be able to assist for 7 of the 8 weeks of summer camp AND * Complete the CIT Orientation Session In return, we will provide: * A summer of fun activities * Opportunities to take on leadership roles, and * An engaging, learning experience The fee of $115 covers a percentage of the cost for staff shirts, field trips and Friday lunches. We will be accepting up to 16 applications but only 8-10 participants will be chosen to participate as a CIT. This decision will be determined on a first come-first-serve basis during the interview process. Applications will be accepted starting April 1st and close once all positions have been filled. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Participants must bring a copy of their birth certificate with them to their interview. Earthlings Outdoor Playschool is a year-round educational experience where respect is our foundation, play our method and the natural world our medium. Earthlings focus is to inspire childrens connection with the beautiful, wondrous and magical earth that we all share, emphasizing the importance of stewardship and care for our families, our communities and our planet. All Earthlings must be potty trained (no pull-ups). Please send children with labeled (childs name) water bottle and a non-sugary snack in reusable containers. For safe play, please dress Earthlings in closed shoes, long pants and a hat. A parent (or other adult) is asked to be a helper at least one day per session. Championship football is built on FUNdamentals. This non-contact full day camp will offer a practice atmosphere while focusing on fundamentals and overall football safety for athletes preparing to play either flag or contact football. In addition to a team practice setting, daily individual teaching is provided for athletes to focus on their positions of choice. Afternoons will be filled with competitive Flag Football games and other fun team building activities. The camp is under the direction of Mark Modeste - Assistant Head Coach at Sacred Heart Prep.
