Have fun reading a required summer reading book in a group setting. With the use of a variety of reading strategies, the course covers the reading of Maniac Magee. Students are asked to purchase the novel prior to the first class. All students should read the first two chapters of the book they are assigned before June 20th. Mandarin Language Summer School This program is interactive, immersive, and culturally rich for children learning Mandarin. A credentialed, experienced Immersion Teacher and a native speaker child care staff member teach each class. Enrollment is limited to approximately 20 students per class. You must enroll for all four weeks of instruction. All class materials are supplied in addition to a healthy snack. After Mandarin Immersion Summer School Camp Footsteps Mandarin Immersion Summer Camp is an opportunity for extended Mandarin immersion.
