August 8-11: Muddy Buddies:Mud, Clay and Camouflage - Mountain Kids!
Getting dirty has to be one of the greatest joys of childhood (and lucky adults)! This week we will learn about mud, clay and camouflage in a variety of ways. Well muck in the mud, create things with clay, and combine both art forms to camouflage ourselves in nature, becoming stealthy stalkers in many a game. Get ready for bath time after this week of muddy Mountain Kids fun! 505-699-6230
University of Georgia Mens Tennis - University of Georgia Mens Tennis
The Georgia Bulldog Tennis Camp will provide instruction for every level of play. For the beginner, basic fundamentals and stroke production will be emphasized. For the intermediate players, refinement of the fundamentals--footwork, grips, strokes and strategy will be stressed. The advanced players will be trained at the same intensity level that we train our Bulldog college players. Along with match play and conditioning, the emphasis is concentrated in challenging the campers regardless of their level of play. Camps are open to any/all entrants (limited only by number and age, grade level, and/or gender). This class will incorporate both singles and doubles strategy and play. sportsmanship, mental toughness, and Fitness. Point play, and fun games are taught on a 78 court using a 25-27" racquet. Then participants will compete in games/scrimmages, where parents can encourage their child and see their progress.
