This option is for campers ages 3 & 4 Camped Up is a day camp program located on the Upper West Side of Manhattan for children with a hearing loss, using an oral approach. Our mission is to provide a community in which each child will be able to socialize with other hearing aid and cochlear implant users, gain self advocacy skills and have a blast in a unique listener friendly environment. Sing! - Palace Education and Performance Center
Working with well known movie and Broadway songs, children will learn the fundamentals of singing. Each class will explore warming up and vocal technique with age appropriate tunes and vocal games. Children will also learn musical theatre performance techniques which will culminate in numbers performed for family and friends at the end of the year performance. Songs will be chosen from the classic Disney songbook through newer Broadway favorites. Past performance pieces have included such favorites as "Do You Wanna Build a Snowman" from Frozen, "Evrybody Wants to Be a Cat" from Disneys The Artistocats and "Choose Me" from The Castaways. Participant must have no prior ice hockey experience. This program is for first time players only. CCM equipment will be professionally fitted and picked up at the Official Lil Kings fitting event. Additional details on the official Lil Kings fitting event will be sent out after your registration is confirmed. The LA Kings highly recommend skating lessons before the Lil Kings event. Please contact your local ice rink for details on learn to skate programs. This NXT-based space adventure is designed for use with LEGO® MINDSTORMS® bricks and software. Our program for the week provides everything needed to facilitate an exciting STEM-based robocamp. STEM stands for: Science-Technology-Engineering-Math, and is a fundamental part of this camp by providing a hands-on minds-on environment.
