Emergency Vet Tech II - Goleta Presbyterian Church
You asked and we responded! Our newest addition…Young Physician II, brings more great projects as young campers delve further into their amazing body systems. Campers will peel back the layers and discover how these complex organs work: learn about disease, how our body fights back, the role of mucus; and digestion, from spit to…. well, you get the idea. They will uncover how the brain works through their own personal webcam, investigate the impact of food, exercise and sleep; and discover how bones and muscles are like cookies and pancakes. They will perform hands-on experiments as they learn about body temperature and fevers, take blood pressures, bandage wounds, and create herbal medicines. Campers will use a microscope, test for germs, map their organs, build a set of teeth, brain and virus models, AND take home their own MD kit. Camp SOAR (Summer Outdoor Adventure Recreation) - Eagles Camp Go on an outdoor adventure with us this summer! Every week campers will experience games, crafts, silly songs, making friends, and learning in a beautiful, natural park setting.
