Has your child ever wondered how the inside of a computer works? Well, heres their chance to take apart computers (mainly PCs), and put them back together in ways that optimize speed, space, and/or resources. Evergreen provides the computers for the children to work on. Students will learn how to install a hard drive, add some RAM, and upgrade a processor. Can We Interview the Staff?
Many summer camp staff are seasonal. However, there are usually a number of year-round staff who can answer parents’ questions. This is a chance to talk about how homesickness will be handled, emergency procedures, the daily schedule, dietary restrictions, and more. Interviews can happen via phone, email, or even Skype. Patience is important. Staff members’ time is usually limited during the winter and spring season.
Before going into this conversation, parents should make a list of questions. This ensures all necessary information about safety, program, and cost are touched upon. Camp staff should be able to explain how registration works...

Teen Camp at Rustler Ranch 6th-12th Grade July 13-15 9:30am - 2:00pm $35.00 per teen per day OR $100 for 3 days!! Come out and enjoy the fun at Rustler Ranch! Your teen will learn safety around horses, grooming, daily care of horses, saddling, horse language, how to work with a horse on the ground, riding skills, maneuvering obstacles, and much more. They will then put these skills learned into practice by caring for their assigned horse daily while at camp. Each teen will receive one on one time with their assigned horse and instructor. They will learn through class time and hands on time. Each teen will be evaluated and taught to their current level of riding, beginners to advanced will learn new skills to aid each of them.  We ask that each teen wear long pants and shoes with a heal for riding. We also ask that each teen bring along with them a packed lunch each day; fridge and microwave available. Campers will be a member of a ranch family team in which they will have responsibilities. This Camp is a 3 (Three) Day Buckaroo Fall Break Day Camp. Camp begins each day at 9:00 EST and ends at 4:00 pm in the afternoon. Campers will be assigned a horse to ride and to care for. In the larger enrollment classes, campers share assigned horses. Activities that the campers will be involved with are... Riding Lessons (generally twice a day, weather permitting) Grooming, Stall Care & Management, Equine Characteristics, Arts and Crafts and Horse Husbandry including some Horse Health and Welfare. Plus, making friends or renewing relationships with new and returning campers alike. Campers have the option to purchase and challenge the test for a CHA riding level. Campers receive the appropriate CHA Riding Level Book. Successful campers are awarded the appropriate Certificate, Patch and Pin. Campers falling below the testing standards are allowed to retest once for no additional charge. Day campers will need to bring appropriate clothing for each day, to include layered warm clothing on cool or cold days and rain gear when needed, as well as, their lunches, snacks and drinks for each day.
