[ and Art Full Day Summer Camp June 13 - 24, 2016 Ages 10 - 13 Mon - Fri 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. (Each student should bring their own lunch) Summer Filmmaking and Art Camps at the Sedona Arts Center provide a rich artistic environment for youth ages 10 - 13. Filmmaking is a very collaborative process that involves all the arts. Students will explore writing, story development, acting, camera work, editing, graphics, and sculpture during the two week camp. The camp culminates in a screening of the final film, an exhibition of poster concepts and an awards ceremony of statuettes that they have made commemorating various aspects of the experience. Endless Summer 80's Beach Boot Camp Bash - Ocean City, MD
Come one come all.. the season is almost over and it is time for the locals to have a friendly competition. There will be 4 events to compete in. Teams consist of 4- 6 people and must be even numbered between male and female participants. The biggest attraction will be an inflatable obstacle course set up on the beach! The second event is a tray carry competition on the beach- try not to spill! The third event is our rendition of ski-ball- each person will have 9 mallets to try to score the most points. The final event is a flip-pong competition...2 of our favorite activities mixed into one flip cup and beer pong. Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 teams. There will also be prizes awarded to the best dressed 80's team. Jagermeister and Natty Boh will be sponsoring the event. Mug & Mallet will have happy hour prices all day to keep everyone fed and hydrated!!! The cost is $75.00 dollars a team and proceeds will go to the Ocean City Downtown Association. This is the first year trying this event and we are really looking forward to making it a huge success!

Every successful babysitter has a few tricks up their sleeve to keep kids happy, healthy, and most of all entertained! Campers will complete an interactive notebook filled with kid friendly snacks, learning activities by age group, engaging games, and more. We also cover topics child care professionals need to know such as how to build a resume, interviewing with potential families, how to find child care jobs, caring for children with special needs, and being a professional. Sycamore Space Lab is a unique experience for students to get a true hands on experience with space travel. Woodworking - PM - Woodworking
Learn a new skill and develop a new hobby this summer! Each camper will have the opportunity to work with a variety of tools and materials and every boy will be provided personal guidance while working on two to three individual projects during this special one-week tutorial session. A variety of wood project ideas and wood species will be offered. Possible projects may include constructing a bookshelf, birdhouse, wooden clock, jigsaw puzzle and carving a bowl or candleholder on a wood lathe. Woodworking experience is not required, only a desire to learn new skills. This specialty camp came into being at the request of campers and parents and has limited enrollment available for instructional purposes. We have envisioned this workshop to have the following goals: 1. To provide a hands-on course that initiates the learning of a new skill during the summer and the development of a lifelong hobby. 2. To learn basic carpentry skills and the proper use of a variety of tools. 3. To encourage pride in ones work and craftsmanship through projects that a boy wants to take home. Additionally, students will explore improvisational theatre in both long and short forms as a means to stimulating the playwriting process and deepening their acting skills. Students with and without theatre backgrounds are invited to come explore, learn, and play! Rachel Wright is a passionate theatre educator who seeks to help her students grow their understanding and compassion for the world, life, and humanity through the magnificent practice of theatre.
