Fashion Sewing Camp at The Sewing Room- Student Choice Learn to sew, draw, and express yourself through fashion! Join us for a week or two of fashion fun. Each child will complete a garment and model it in an informal fashion show at the end of the week. We explore different aspects of the design process throughout the camp. Machines and tools are provided at THE SEWING ROOM, but students must purchase a project either from THE SEWING ROOM or from a fabric store (not included in the price of the camp). A pattern list appropriate to the class will be sent out in May. Snacks are provided, however, please have your child bring lunch. 9am-3pm Monday - Friday 510-332-9807

Week 4 Monte Vista Horsemanship Camp - Monte Vista Christian School
Monte Vista Horsemanship Camp provides an amazing opportunity for boys and girls to spend a week riding horses, making friends, and experiencing beautiful natural surroundings at the campus of Monte Vista Christian School. Located in the foothills of the Santa Cruz Mountains on the Monterey Bay, we offer structured riding lessons in the morning and afternoon for beginners through advanced riders looking to prepare for competition. Trail rides, mounted games and grooming lessons round out the campers Equestrian education for the week, and they will demonstrate their new skills for friends and family members at our Camp Horse Show on Saturday. Every afternoon, the campers have an opportunity to swim at the school pool and enjoy the hot tub before showering and then its off to dinner! Overnight campers stay in our comfortable cabins and will play games and eat smores around the nightly campfires. Our meals are provided by Epicurean Cafe and the food is fabulous! Camp will expose kickers, punters, holders, and snappers to all aspects of their respective positions: mechanics, technique, game-situation, mental preparedness, and physical training. Campers receive an Extra pointers t-shirt, a printed technique guide by position, and video evaluation. For students interested in attending both Extra pointers camps, June 21-23 & Aug. 2-4 they will receive $50 off the cost of the two camps but must register for the "combo" camp to receive discount.
