Campers will learn about the Science of Robotics with historical information, discoveries and advances in robot technology. Newtons Laws will be emphasized all week and each camper will receive three robot kits to work on. Campers will be able to take home their remote controlled robots! This year, Terrific Scientific will be featuring our Robotic Arm Edge kit and our 7 in 1 Solar Robot kit. In addition to these projects, campers will be learning how to solder with our blinky robot project. Learning the skills of wiring, gear building, and soldering will allow campers to go on to more sophisticated robot creations. Price includes a $45 lab fee. 7047743016.0

Come join us for a HUGE weekend in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. Pastor Joel Lawrence from the Twin Cities will be coming down. We are planning a weekend where we can come alongside each other as student and speak and grow in our faith together. This is a time of unity for our area, we want to be closer than ever before to friends in our area displaying the love of Christ. So we we will be partnering in this retreat with Badger CRU from Madison in our larger group meetings! This is a NON-CONTACT sports camp. Each camper will receive positive individual instruction on the game of football. Local 2016 area college football signees along with former Arkansas Razorbacks Clint Stoerner, Tommy Harris, and Matt Harris will be in attendance. Ouachita Baptist University All-American Brent Calhoun, Waymon Johnson, and Dallas Cowboy great Cliff Harris will encourage youth players to work their hardest at the camp. High school athletes, coaches and football staff will work at the camp in order to provide each camper with quality instruction. Each camp session will also deal with the teaching and discussion of character issues such as honesty and sportsmanship. Each camper will get a chance to earn awards at the end of camp day. This is a great opportunity for local young boys and girls to have a great time in a fun camp. Don’t worry parents. There will plenty of water provided… The cost of the camp is $40 per camper. The camp tuition includes all camp activities, a camp T-shirt, hydration station, and lunch. Concession stand will be provided and parents are invited to stay and watch! Create a lake in a bottle, jump in to the science of sports, and let your nose be your guide on a trail of scents. A week of hands-on experiments will increase your understanding of our good ship Earth. Learn how animals are camouflaged and go on the hunt for scents and tracks as you take a walk on the wild side of science. Dissect owl pellets and build a strong structure to crawl inside. We will look at it all from nature to pollution to sports to animals. Campers will use technology to develop replicable experiments, enhancing STEM outreach in an experience unique to Cary Academy 919-677-7839

The WCU Field Hockey Day Camp is designed for the development of the field hockey athlete from advanced level to beginners. All campers will have individual skill instruction with play-ers of similar ability and experience. Topics that will be covered: individual/group instruction, offensive/defensive strategies, specialized goal-keeper instruction, as well as competitive game experiences in a positive learning environment. EQUIPMENT Each camper should bring a stick, shinguards, sneakers or turf shoes, mouthguard, bath-ing suit, sunscreen, and a con-tainer of water (no glass). WCU and its camp staff are not re-sponsible for lost or missing items. All personal equipment should be marked with the campers name.
