Weekly theme: Dance and Movement - experiencing the joy of Latin rhythms and diversity. Children will explore the Spanish language and culture through theme-based activities such as art, music, nature, dance, and more! This camp is perfect for kids without knowledge of Spanish, as well as for the advanced. Children will work in groups matching their level of Spanish. Enlisting your child into activities they love will make them strive to build and expand vocabulary and language structure naturally. Please bring a snack and water. Please bring to camp: Large shoe or boot box for fired clay pieces (write name on box), old shirt to wear during camp Each day: Drink & snack to enjoy during 15 minute break About our Summer Camp! Campers will experience 3 hours of creative opportunities each day. They will learn & practice basic skills such as drawing with pencil, markers, charcoal, oil & chalk pastels. Students will learn color mixing & painting with artist paintbrushes while using watercolors & acrylic paints.
