Story Telling from Every Angle - Coyote Central
Youll dive so deep into storytelling that it will make your head spin as you work with an award-winning filmmaker, writer of comic books, animations, and screenplays; teacher at film schools, universities, and PIXAR Animation Studio. With him youll be conversing about the basics of story telling, listening to them, watching them on tapes, and improvising them. By the end of the week, you will have a giant bag of great storytelling tools and techniques for however you want to use them: acting, telling, writing, or knowing why youve just witnessed one. Make a Joyful Noise for 3-5yrs - The Music Village
Instructor: Cindy Berryman *Age limit is recommended, not restricted *For siblings in the same household, enter "Joyful Noise sibling" when asked for a coupon code to receive 50% off the 2nd registration. Following John Feierabends curriculum of First Steps in Music, we will be singing, acting, dancing and creating music. We are literally creating a full-immersion musical experience that can be the ground work for further musical studies, both vocal and instrumental! We will be using dance to both express music and understand lyrics; we will explore both folk and classical music pieces. Additional experiences include acting with puppets & costumes; expressive dance with hand-dyed silk scarves and ribbon sticks; and beginning instrumental play on drums and pitched instruments (xylophones, glockenspiels, ukuleles where appropriate).
