2017 Teen Winter Retreat - Jackson, OH
Registration for the retreat will be held on Saturday, January 28, from 3– 4 p.m. and will dismiss at 10 a.m. on Sunday, January 29. The Teen Winter Retreat will feature many fun events, activities and programs. You will need to bring your completed health form and activity release form that is signed by your parent/guardian in order to participate. Please bring warm clothes and comfortable shoes as we will probably be taking part in some outdoor activities during the retreat. You will also need to bring your own, bedding, towels and bathroom supplies. Registrations should be submitted by Friday, January 20 to Canter’s Cave 4-H Camp. Registrations with payments should be mailed to Canter's Cave 4-H Camp at 1362 Caves Road, Jackson, Ohio 45640. ECEA Youth Camping Trip - Killeen, TX
The youth have voted for their year-end field trip to be at Parrie Haynes Ranch for some camping and trail riding! If you are a current ECEA youth member, your campsite and day fees are paid for by youth club money raised at our youth fundraiser show. Please let me know if you are planning to attend, if you need RV hookups, how many horses you are bringing and how many people you are bringing so that I can make reservations next week. We will have orgainized group dinners and group breakfast. Bring your own drinks, lunches and snacks. It's going to be a blast!

AccelerateKIDs Coding Jr. Camp introduces campers to the visual programming language M.I.T. Scratch. Campers will learn the basic principles behind computer programming. Over the course of the week students will program four games - Cat & Mouse, a maze game and more. Each programming lesson builds upon itself and reinforces the basic concepts learned in camp. Using their knowledge learned over the course, campers will choose one of their games to edit and present on the final day of camp. Each camper will leave camp with an AccelerateKID T-shirt. Campers will learn the basics of 3D game design, including models, textures, volumes, lighting, and more as they create their game from start to finish. During camp, campers will use real game design principles as they design their game on the X, Y and Z axes to create an immersive 3D world. Theyll also learn to use our proprietary, age-appropriate game design software, OWL Game Creator, as they develop skills that will help them pursue game development at a professional level.
