We are focused on helping campers and their parents to become aware of a unique higher education institution called Florida College. Florida College centers its education around God and His Word, Alabama Camp centers its summer camp activities in the same way. We are not a church camp, but rather a group of Florida College alumni and friends who are eager to provide an environment of summer fun, while remembering who we are as Gods creation. Because of this, we have certain expectations of both our staff and our campers. Please be sure to read these expectations and explain them to your camper if needed. Participants in this session will learn the science behind baking the perfect cookie as well as the proper way to measure and mix ingredients, kitchen safety, baking techniques, and how to overcome baking challenges as we make a different type of cookie each day (including at least one gluten free option). Ms. Suzanne Russell earned her M.S. in Library Science from Indiana University. She is the subject area librarian for Brebeufs Religious Studies and Science departments.
