This camp gives students the chance to develop socially and musically. My 10 year old daughter loves the fact she can be out in nature, feels safe and can learn about music with like-minded children. Why not take some time to re-connect with yourself and enjoy the fellowship of womanhood at our beautiful camp in Southwestern Michigan. Our women’s only weekend retreat will give you an opportunity to relax in a beautiful and inviting environment, reconnect with your inner self through art, meditation and reflection and allow plenty of time to appreciate sisterhood and enjoy pampering yourself. BSDK Sum camp wk 9 Full DAY CAMPER - Baseball Stadium at Devon and Kedzie
LPBA is pleased to announce that we have added a third baseball camp to our summer camp program. This exciting new venue will feature two fields at the former Thillens Stadium, now Baseball Stadium at Devon and Kedzie BSDKS two fields will allow us to divide the campers by age and skill level. We will use field #1 for boys and girls ages 5-7 and field #2 for boys and girls ages 8-13. The camp experience includes a daily exercise and agility training routine followed by instructive drills including base running, pitching, defense, bunting, outfield play, infield play, batting practice and other hitting drills. Camps will be held at BSDK 6404 N. Kedzie and will be conducted by LPBAs professional staff. Guest MLB instructors, past and present major league players, coaches and scouts will be on hand throughout the summer to conduct all-inclusive camp sessions. Camper to coach ratio is 7:1. LPBAs summer camp programs run Monday-Thursday from June 8 though August 28, 2015: Half day sessions from 9 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. – $175 per week Full day sessions from 9 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. – $250 per week Camp registration is on a weekly basis. Singing for the Stage and Beyond - The Little Theatre of Alexandria
This class is designed to introduce and strengthen the fundamentals of voice/singing for the adult voice. Students will learn proper breathing placement and projection techniques, as well as technical and interpretive principles. In addition, students will learn to select and prepare songs for their particular voices. Limited to ages 17 and older. INSTRUCTOR BIO: BEVERLEY BENDA, a professional singer by trade, is a classical soprano with The United States Army Band Pershings Own, and Programming NCO and Script Writer for their Public Affairs Office. She has performance and teaching degrees from James Madison University, Eastern Illinois University, and The Eastman School of Music, and has appeared in a variety of musical productions including Brigadoon, Carmen, Carousel, Oklahoma!, Kismet, The Pirates of Penzance, Dialogue of the Carmelites, My Fair Lady, The Music Man, Hollywood Pinafore, Its A Grand Night for Singing, and the first revival of Call Me Mister. DIGITAL FILMMAKING: SO YOU WANT TO BE ON YOUTUBE? - Memphis University School
This camp challenges students to tell a story with moving images and offers hands-on learning and instruction in writing, directing, editing, cinematography, and production. While producing a group film, each student will experience several aspects of the creative process. Topics covered include storyboarding, camera techniques, sound and music, and scriptwriting. The camp culminates with a screening of the students films. The course does not require special equipment or skills. 901-260-1300

This class is a continuation of Fundamentals in Clay. Students will acquire skills, techniques, and study of form and function that include throwing, hand building, and altered throwing techniques.
