Tae Kwon Do Camps 2016 Each day campers will participate in one of the following themes; Ninja Camp, Demo Team, Sparring and Kicks & Tricks. Ninja Camp - Focuses on balance, focus and extreme movements. Demo Team - Students will learn the key tools for developing the proper physical and mental attitude. Sparring - Using fast twitch muscles, combination kicks, pivoting and changing stances. Kicks & Tricks - Blending martial arts and gymnastic practice aerials, 540s round offs, Chinese butterfly kicks, kip ups and 360 spin kicks. Focus and fun is the premise behind our children's day camp run by qualified staff from Enshin Karate and Radiant Beginnings Yoga. Our martial arts class, is taught by 4 time world champion Mike Ninomiya and his lovely wife Diana Ninomiya. Both of whom have been certified to teach in Denver Public Schools in the Radiant Beginnings enrichment program. We have a wide variety of activities involved besides martial arts and yoga; West African drumming and chess workshops are two other focuses mixed into this camp designed to bring fun, focus and stress management in the mind body realm. Our campers have so much fun and leave with tremendous knowledge and focus. Reserve your spot early because we fill up fast! Projects designed specifically for kids ages 7-12... learn about sewing, how to read patterns, how to use a sewing machine, different stitch options, etc. We will be making projects during the week and then having a "showcase" party on Friday from 12-2pm to show off what the kids have made. ***Kids will need a sack lunch*** *** Sewing machines are available to rent if you don't have one... a $10 per day rental fee applies and we must know BEFORE the class starts if your child needs to rent a machine***

Summer Camps are no-frills, get-a-lot-done, fun-filled social events. We are trying something new this year! We will join Debi Morris at her campground, Traveler’s Woods. There will be no fee to crop and we will plan our potluck meals in advance. Camping is available – Campers with water/sewer/electric are $20.00/night; tents with electric plug are $10.00/night. Showers, a bathhouse, and a pool are available for campers. Optional Friday night add-on to camp. (Provide your own camper or tent, payment upon arrival.) Digital scrappers and card makers welcome at all events too! Join us for one or both days.

This is an intensive customized program for competitive boys 13 and younger. Instruction will focus on performing techniques with less time and space, and making tactical decisions at a higher speed. Each day, players receive top flight instruction from the nationally ranked and recognized University of Tulsa Mens and Womens Coaches as well as other top Collegiate, Club and High School coaches and players. Registration will be Sunday from 1-3 and pick up will be Thursday at 11:30 am.
