Summer Camp Cascadia 2016 - Klickitat, WA
What would it take to harness the collective wisdom, resources and desires embodied in the New Culture community? This year at New Culture Summer Camp Cascadia, we will be exploring our creative edges, expanding our comfort zone, and integrating the skills, knowledge and intuitions of participants to co-create an experience that is unique, alive, and transformational. We are inviting talented facilitators and presenters to join us in our experiment as we also open up the programming to respond directly to the desires of the group in the moment. What will arise? What will we create? What new discovery will we uncover as we practice together being fully present in our bodies and in community? Each day will include ZEGG-style Forum for connection and transparency. Together we will cultivate connections, empower personal and social change, support healing, and explore love & freedom of choice. Kid's Campout with the Prickly Pear Living History Museum - San Antoni
Do you want to help your kids build a connection to nature, but aren’t sure how? Do you struggle to get them away from screens? On March 19th and 20th Government Canyon State Natural Area and the Prickly Pear Living History Museum will be co-hosting a camping event for kids ages 10-16 and their parents. No screens allowed, but no one will be bored. Instead, we’ll talk about how local Native Americans survived and thrived in the same places we now call our home. For hands-on learning we’ll have reproduction tools, weapons, and natural resources for everyone to explore. Along the way, kids discover how to be hike leaders and why it’s important to be good caretakers of the land. We’ll provide most of the equipment. Maximum of two kids and two adults per group, so that more kids can enjoy the experience. Space is limited to 12 people. RESERVATIONS REQUIRED! Our last event filled up fast. 2016 Winter Training Camp - University Club of Kentucky Golf Course
Are you looking for a way to work on your golf game during the long winter months? Now you can in UKs state-of-the-art indoor training center located at the University Club of Kentucky. Join Head Coach Brian Craig and Assistant Coach Ben Fuqua for our Winter Training Camp in the UK Golf House. Campers will enjoy eight three-hour training sessions on Thursday evenings beginning January 21 and running through March 31. Each session will consist of a 90 minute small group instruction with individualized training (max of 6 golfers per small group). Our coaching staff will focus on improving the golf game of each camper. The facility will also be available for use by the golfers for an additional 90 minutes on each date. Our facility has everything needed to effectively train the serious golfer, including indoor heated hitting bays and an extraordinary indoor short game area. The UK Golf House is also packed with the latest technology such as Trackman and SAM PuttLab. All of these features and technology are there for one purpose…TO MAKE YOU A BETTER GOLFER.
