Coon Rapids - Week 11 - OLYMPIC GAMES, HOCKEY and Closing Ceremonies Week - Coon Rapids Ice Center
*** Note: This week is intended only to the Full Time (10 week) registrants!! Exceptions may be in place but registration will fill up, so sign up for the full 10 week program and receive all the benefits! Contact us if you have any questions. What better way to wind down the summer at the Coon Rapids Ice Center than with a week devoted to SUMMERs OLYMPIC GAMES EVENTS and HOCKEY (Ice Hockey, Floor Hockey) And with the Closing Ceremonies there will be an All Sports theme when not doing Hockey coupled with an awards ceremony for all these Active Kids hard work. Featured Field Trip : Twins Game vs. Detroit Tigers, Thursday, August 25 FYI - The actual day camp runs from 9:00am-4:00pm though kids are welcome to get dropped off as early as 7:00am and picked up as late as 6:00pm. "Meet Spot" Week 6 - Animal Training Adventure Center
This session is for young campers age 7 who love puppies and dogs, or young campers who need to overcome a fear of dogs. Campers will be introduced to basic responsibilities of pet ownership and the needs of a canine companion by working with rescue puppies and dogs. Campers will engage in play and structured games involving puppies and dogs that teach dog handling skills, dog safety, and promote having fun with a dog. This session will also include animal-themed family movies, animal-themed arts and craft projects, and homemade dog treats prepared by campers. Session fee includes a t-shirt and all activities and materials. You will need to pack your campers lunch daily. 850-294-1964

Bricks 4 Kidz-Jurassic Brick Land Camp - Stuart Community Center
Are you ready for the adventure of a lifetime? You?re about to enter Jurassic Brick Land! Campers will build a world that comes to life with the gentle Brontosaurus, ferocious Velociraptor, terrifying T.Rex, and many more. We?ll learn about amazing dinosaurs that lived during the Jurassic period, and other extinct, prehistoric animals that roamed the earth and swam the seas during that era and millions of years later. Outside Hitter Camp - Beck Center
We will be focusing a lot on the passing aspects of the game during the first part of the session along with working on the mechanics of the arm swing. The second part of the session we will be progressing into more game like situations that involve both the Outside Hitter and Right Side Hitter. This camp is for all levels of players as we will progress each drill according to the success of the player. If you are just starting out we will work with you to get you to understand the game from the Outside Hitter position and work through the early fundamentals that you will need to become successful. If you have played the position for a while you will progress on a track to teach you the different levels of the game and how we do things here at Transylvania Volleyball.
