Kid's Summer Mixed Art's Camp Monday, June 27th thru Friday July 1st, 2016 8:30am - 12:30pm Kids will learn a myriad of fine art classes during this week long art camp. Kid's mixed art camp is recommended for kids between the ages of 7 and 13 years of age. $125 per child per session. 10th Annual Austin Global Youth Peace Summit - Marble Falls, TX
The 10th Annual Global Youth Peace Summit will unite 70 youth (ages 14-17) from 25+ countries for a week-long experience dedicated to personal growth, healing, cultural exchange, leadership development and community building. The 10th Annual Texas Global Youth Peace Summit will take place August 15th-21st, 2016 at Camp Champions in Marble Falls, Texas. The Summit is a place for healing… Some of the youth who attend have experienced traumatic circumstances: extreme poverty, religious persecution, child labor, gang violence, abuse and neglect. Some have witnessed the atrocities of war and have literally run for their lives; many have been uprooted from their native cultures and are struggling to integrate into an entirely foreign world. By sharing their stories with others, Summit participants find themselves heard, celebrated, and empowered. The Summit is a place for authenticity… Every youth is empowered to be themselves, completely. The invitation is simple – come as you are. 2nd Annual "Kids to Camp" Spaghetti Dinner
Please come support the 5th grade students of the Laurel Highlands School District. All proceeds will go to defer the cost for LH Outdoor School for each student! Tickets are $8 and can be purchased through a fifth grade student, individual elementary schools, or by commenting on this event!

Famous Characters & Scene Study - The Little Theatre of Alexandria
This class is designed for 3rd-5th grade students. The fun continues! For interested students with some acting experience. Well explore changing our voices and bodies to represent different characters from favorite and familiar stories like the Harry Potter series, The Wizard of Oz, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and The Secret Garden...perhaps well travel to Narnia. Students will get to stretch their wings a bit each week doing dramatic readings. Well include some fun theatre games and improv activities too! At the final class parents will be invited to a staged presentation. INSTRUCTOR ROBERTA MASTER-CULLEN has been teaching childrens classes and camps at the Little Theatre for seven years. She is a member of the Screen Actors Guild specializing in radio and television voiceovers, and has been a television news anchor and reporter.
