Come to Gardner Camp for hands-on learning about wildlife and animals of all kinds. Nationally renowned World Bird Sanctuary will be at GC to present a live animal program where you will experience an up-close view of animals from all kingdoms. After learning about the different types of animals and the signs that animals leave behind, participants will test their investigation skills solving a mystery and go on a tracking adventure, weather permitting. Participants will also walk away with their very own handmade wildlife tracks t-shirt. Within this program, there is also a giveback opportunity to help World Bird Sanctuary. This camp was a blast last year and this year will be even better! I will be using it as my senior project this year. It is June 27-29th from 6-9pm at Kuna High School track. The Phone Bank will air live from Fox 61 and WCCT (CW) on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 beginning from 9a.m. to 10a.m. and then returning from 4p.m. to 7p.m. Your support of this campaign will help Hartford’s Camp Courant and Fox 61 further their missions to support education-based programs for children throughout the greater Hartford community. Our goal is to raise $100,000 during the live four-hour televised fundraiser, which will help to enhance the summer experience for nearly 1,000 Hartford children this year. We have a long standing, aligned and focused partnership with Fox 61 who is dedicated to making a positive difference. 2016 Stanford Synchro Swim Camp - Overnight - Stanford Athletics
Stanford Synchro Swim Camp will allow athletes the opportunity to work with Olympic medalists, National Team coaches and coaches of the Stanford University Synchronized Swimming Team. During this camp, athletes will focus on and learn the importance of injury prevention based land training, sport-specific muscle strengthening, and translation of these elements into the water. They will learn the technical warm-up Stanford Synchro athletes use to train, and a short Stanford Synchro routine to perform at the end of camp.
