St. Louis Youth Camp's Trivia Night - St. Louis, Missouri, MO

The event will be held at Mercy Hospital Conference Center on New Ballas Road. Doors open at 6:00pm, and trivia begins promptly at 7:00pm. Prizes will be awarded to the winning table. There will also be raffles, games and attendance prizes! Cost is $200 for an 8-person table or $25 per person ($30 per person at the door). Beer, soda and water are provided and we encourage you to bring your own food and beverages as well. Mon, Aug 1, 2016 - Fri, Aug 5, 2016 Summer Art Camp at the SCGA Morning Classes: 9:00am - 12:00pm: Fun in the Mud (Ages 4-7) In this beginner’s pottery class students will be introduced to different kinds of clay, the pottery wheel, a variety of hand-building skills and colorful glazes. We will draw inspiration for our creations from children’s stories as we combine art, storytelling and play in this unique class offering. What I Really Want to do is Paint! (Ages 4-7) Miss Ashley will work with students to develop basic painting skills and a love for painting, along with concepts like the color wheel, line, texture and value in this foundational painting class perfect for our youngest artists. This class is designed to help prepare students for future art classes and to give them hands-on experience with paint media and tools while having a blast squishing, squirting and smushing paint onto canvas. Art You Smart-To Go (Private Classes) - Wichita Collegiate School
This class is for coming 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade artists. Let me enrich your childs summer with a 6 week study of art. Sign up for a private hour of art in which I will come to your home and work with your child. The hour will include: working with the Elements and Principles of Design, experimenting with various media and techniques and learning to mount and display finished pieces, and connecting to art history. If there are siblings that are in the required grade levels, it will be an additional $63 for each additional artist. This fee includes all supplies. Join BYU Cougarette Artistic Director Jodi Maxfield and the BYU Cougarettes for the best dance camp of the year! This camp is designed to prepare those who may have a desire to audition for and become part of the nine-time National Champion BYU Cougarette Dance Team. Train under the direction of BYUs nationally recognized dancers, including former and current BYU Cougarettes who have been on many of those successful national award-winning teams. You will receive quality instruction in all aspects of dance including technique, jazz, contemporary, hip hop, character and pom. Find out first hand what it takes to become a BYU Cougarette and learn how to prepare to succeed at the college level. Camp participants will be divided into groups that will allow the intermediate level dancer the time to increase her technique and improve on performance and showmanship.
