The weekend is dedicated to creating a relationship with God, making new friends, and worshipping. We’ll learn about what it means to have God’s love in our lives, and truly how to forgive. The 2nd Annual ATHENA Camp for Teen Girls Athena was the Greek goddess of reason, intelligent activity, arts and literature. She was fierce in battle, but also nurturing and creative. At Athena camp we will use expressive arts to explore what it means to be a girl in today's society. We'll do arts-n-crafts, listen to music, sing, decorate t-shirts, do creative writing, learn stress management strategies, explore and share thoughts about what kind of impact we want to leave in our community, bolster self esteem and reinforce the need to celebrate not compete with each other.
