Join us for one or both of our Super Science camps! Students will perform several hands-on science activities and will get to take home multiple items. Minecraft Adventures - Universalist Unitarian Church - Arlington
Welcome to the world of Mining and Crafting. At this exciting camp your child will craft and create on a lap top computer. Throughout the week, your child will be given exciting building challenges in BOTH the creative and survival mode of MINECRAFT ® BEWARE OF CREEPERS!! Renaissance has hired some mining experts to help your child learn secrets and short cuts that can be taken home for use on their own MINECRAFT® games. A secure server will be provided for their use during this camp. We will focus on several advanced crafting skills such as red-stone wiring, advanced survival tactics and advanced gardening. Campers will participate in a horserace and become paleoentoligists digging for bones to construct a dinosaur. There are new challenges everyday and the excitement builds with each new challenge. Art on the Wild Side - EcoAdventures
Art on the Wild Side July 11th-15th 9am – 4pm (Ages 5 – 11) Monday – Friday Unleash your expressive side at our Art extravaganza camp. Come color with the chameleons, paint with our pythons and craft with our crocodilians. Each day will feature a different Art project that will include etched nature juice glasses, no sew animal print pillows, paper mache tropical birds, woven place mats, polymer clay pens, under the sea painting and more! Throughout the week, we will display the campers masterpieces in our very own EcoAdventures Art Show. Color your summer with the coolest Art camp around town! Camp Young Scientist - Club ScientificLab
The Jr. Scientist Camp covers a broad range of fun and exciting science topics such as: Chemistry, Biology, Physics and Lab Process Skills. Activities and experiments explore different branches of science including entomology, oceanography, paleontology, and rocketry. This camp is perfect for the child who has a general interest in science and wants an exciting "sampler" camp! Campers learn all about the Scientific Method, how to observe and document changes with their experiments day to day, how to measure, and more! Summer Camp @ Victory Park Group C (9-10) - City of Pasadena
Join one of Pasadenas most popular summer camps! Victory Parks Camp has earned its longstanding reputation as a high-quality, fun, affordable, enriching program. Each day begins with a morning pep rally that sets the stage for an action-packed day. Activities include outdoor play, dance, arts and crafts, including painting, sculpting, lanyard making and chalk drawings, fitness activities and enrichment. Enrichment classes include health, hygiene and first aid instruction, cooking classes, computer and robotics play and specialized sports instruction in tennis and golf. Campers spend at least two hours daily doing physical fitness in the form of choreographed dance, group games, fitness competitions, team sports and supervised free play. Campers are escorted across the park to Pasadena High School?s swimming pool for recreational swim two times per week. Camp counselors go into the water with the campers and well-trained, certified lifeguards are always present. Before entering the pool, campers receive a water safety lesson. Optional swimming lessons available for an additional $20/week. Most field trip fees are included in the weekly fee. Fun field trips are often the highlight of the week.
