Summer Camp Amelia Island 2015 - Fernandina Beach, FL
For those who teach dental hygiene or wish to receive required teaching methodology to teach dental hygiene this conference provides a variety of courses in general educational teaching methodology and specific subject teaching methodology. Courses include a flash drive of teaching materials. Visit our website for course descriptions and registration details. The courses are spread over 8 days. Aug 4 through 11, 2015. Hotel rates are $89 per night for double occupancy. Fly into Jacksonville FL airport. Half hour shuttle ride to hotel. All classes held in 2 hotels. Teaching methodology classes are limited to 30 participants.

Summer Day Camp - Almo, ID

Discover skills of the ancient scout, nearly lost to history, if it weren’t for a handful of people who kept these practices alive. We’re a staff who has studied under scouts only once removed from the likes of Baden-Powell and Geronimo. A scout must live in honor, balance and harmony with the earth in order to blend with nature and move over any terrain like a shadow. There’s also an aspect of martial arts in this camp, using tricks of mind-over-matter to help us accomplish feats that seem impossible. Rustler Ranch Teen Camp - Pierpont, OH
Teen Camp at Rustler Ranch 6th-12th Grade July 13-15 9:30am - 2:00pm $35.00 per teen per day OR $100 for 3 days!! Come out and enjoy the fun at Rustler Ranch! Your teen will learn safety around horses, grooming, daily care of horses, saddling, horse language, how to work with a horse on the ground, riding skills, maneuvering obstacles, and much more. They will then put these skills learned into practice by caring for their assigned horse daily while at camp. Each teen will receive one on one time with their assigned horse and instructor. They will learn through class time and hands on time. Each teen will be evaluated and taught to their current level of riding, beginners to advanced will learn new skills to aid each of them. We ask that each teen wear long pants and shoes with a heal for riding. We also ask that each teen bring along with them a packed lunch each day; fridge and microwave available. NavYouth 2016 Spring Retreat - Denton, MD
NavYouth Spring Retreat! Downright Different Relationships Fri Mar 11 – Sun Mar 13 New location! Camp Mardela in Denton, MD, on the Eastern Shore near the Delaware border. Leave Fri afternoon (time TBD) & return Sun afternoon. Except for one fast-food meal on the way, all meals are included, Fri dinner thru Sun lunch. Total cost $85 — money needed by Mon Mar 7. Scholarships available if cost is holding you back. Discount for families sending more than one student — only $50 for each additional student after the first. Sock Monsters - Ethical Culture
Make fun, quirky creatures out of unwanted socks. Learn how to follow a pattern from beginning to end; to cut, sew, and stuff new creations. Transforming something old into something new, students will learn various sewing techniques including how to sew on a button. Instructor: Julie Namack 212-712-6230

Week 4: Drama Program - The MacDuffie School
Enjoy the spotlight, love singing and dancing, or do you just want to be a little silly and have fun? The drama program is for you! This summer, the drama program returns crazier than ever and will be overflowing with things to do for kids of all ages and interests. Each day will consist of various theater games and activities that enhance acting ability, diction, improvisational skills, spatial awareness and movement, singing, show tunes appreciation, backstage expertise, and most importantly confidence on and off the stage. These activities will be coupled with rehearsals for a short play that will culminate with a performance on Friday afternoon for fellow camp-goers, family, and friends. Elem Aftercare Week 4 - Merrill Engineering Building
We are going to offer a limited aftercare program from 3 until 5:30. This will largely not be computer related, but more about enjoying some of the University of Utah campus - doing activities like bowling or games on the open spaces. I know this does not solve the problem for those enrolled in the Beginning Scratch camp ending at 11:45AM. Sorry. We will distribute a daily schedule so that you can pickup early if needed. Girl Scout Sunday: Toy Hack - The Mini Maker
Patch Included During our Toy Hack sessions your kids are given a selection of old toys, such as, a GI Joe, Barbie Doll, Legos, Dinosaur figures, ect. Your kids use basic tools like a screw driver to "hack" the toys apart. Then with the use of tape, pipe cleaners, or glue gun the kids are able to reuse and recycle the pieces and create a new toy with them. For example: A Barbie Doll body with a T-Rex Head and Zombie Foot. During this session the kids are also asked to use their imaginations to create a story around the figure they have created. This workshop is open to Daisys, Brownies and Juniors. 517-233-1524
