Does your little one have what it takes to be a REAL princess? No, really… Does she have what it takes to be true royalty? Well, she’s about to go through Princess 101! Announcing the first ever Putnam Princess Parties Princess Summer Camp!! July 5-9 we will transform the Bancroft FireHouse in beautiful Putnam County into a Princess Academy where our real life Putnam Princesses will be conducting a camp that will teach little ones exactly what it takes to be royalty- manners, makeup, songs, dances, the works! Each day, 2-3 princesses will teach different “courses” from 5:00-7:00pm. Different princesses will teach different “classes.” For example, Cinderella may be teaching a song while Snow White is teaching a proper curtsy. Each day, your child will learn something new and they will practice for the big recital on Saturday. At the end of the week, the little princesses will perform in a special performance alongside the real life princesses in a grand recital. They will perform the special songs and dances they have studied. And all the characters they have met throughout the week will be in attendance for a grand ball type of ceremony. There will then be a special graduation “with royal honors”...

Kids learn about safety first, equipment, horses and riding in our soft-sand enclosed and covered round pen. What better way to finish off the winter break than by being outside with friends and siblings, learning a new skill, having fun, and gaining in self-confidence? We are happy to announce we will be teaming up with Summer Camp Music Festival to host an ‘Art That Feeds’ Food Drive in Chillicothe, Illinois from May 22-24, 2015. All food donations will benefit the East Peoria Area Food Bank in Peoria, Illinois. One of our very talented artist is creating a Summer Camp event poster, which will be FREE to patrons who donate 20 non-perishable food items or a suggested monetary donation. Food donations will be collected at the Conscious Alliance ‘Art That Feeds’ Gallery, which will be depicted on the Summer Camp Festival guide and map. Conscious Alliance always encourages food donations to be low-sodium and health oriented products. ORGANIC food donations are especially encouraged. RAMEN NOODLES will NOT be accepted for the free poster. Thank you for your continued support in feeding the hungry everywhere the music plays!

Summer Strength and Speed Training Girls - 9th-12th grades - Wichita Collegiate School
Instructor: Black All classes will be taught in the state of the art Lattner Center located on the west side of the Upper School. Some sessions will take place on the turf or track at Spartan Stadium located just to the east of the Beren Middle School. The summer staff of Troy Black, Mike Gehrer, Destiny Clark, Cam Clark, and other staff as needed have many years of proven experience and knowledge. The curriculum and techniques like the training center are state of the art and are presented in a positive uplifting environment. Each session has a curriculum molded to the skill sets and abilities of the students. Strength and Speed - For the 6th year, we will be offering a class that is designed for the female athlete. Female athletes need to work on their strength and speed just like the males. The focus of the program will be on developing overall body strength, learning proper lifting technique, improved jumping ability, agility, speed improvement, and core strength. A variety of exercises and drills will be used over the 8-week program. The participants age, experience, and limitations will be used when designing the participants workouts.
