No School Kid’s Cooking Camp—Pumpkin, Apples, Butternut Squash - Chica
Ages 8-13, Hands-On, 4 hour class $30 Our school doors aren’t closed today. We’d love to educate your child(ren) on their day off with a skill set that will be used for decades to come—cooking! All participants will be shopping, prepping, cooking, eating and cleaning. Most food is made from scratch and in season! Today’s menu will focus on the fall produce of pumpkin, apples, butternut squash and cranberries: pumpkin bread with maple butter, apple pockets, curried butternut squash soup with cranberry chutney and baked brie crostini. Is your child excited about camp but not quite ready to spend the night? Good news! Timberlake offers Day Camp every Wednesday of regular camp for children from Kindergarten to 5th Grade. Each Day Camp offers a rotation of different typical camp activities. We provide lunch for every camper, and they are put into small "cabin" groups, always in the care of our trained staff. NOTE: Preregistration for Day Camp is not necessary. If you wish, you can simply register and pay when you arrive at camp. Schedule 8:40-9 am - Check in (Follow the signs!) 9:30-11:30 - Rotation of games, camp activities 11:30-12:30 - Lunch and change for swimming 12:30-3:00 - Boats, swim time and camp store 3:00-3:30 - Bible Time with the camp pastor 4 pm - Pick up time What to Bring Wear clothes that can get dirty and muddy. Week 5 After Care - Ann Arbor Art Center
Extends the care of your child after camp if you are unable to pick them up at 4:00pm. Post care covers a two hour time period from 4:00 to 6:00pm The flat fees for Pre-Camp Care and/or Post-Camp Care cover the entire week and do not vary with the number of days your child actually attends. We provide Pre-Camp and Post-Camp care as a convenient option for working parents. Due to the limited number of spaces available, we do not pro-rate. We understand that sometimes plans change or things come up, and we try to accommodate emergency pre or post camp needs where possible.
