I think in this day and age it's so important for girls to have the opportunity to bond with other girls without distraction. Yes, I'm talking about boys and texting! What's amazing is that our daughter didn't seem to miss either this summer. She came back from Alpengirl so confident and self-assured. She's also eating a lot more salad. Held in Computer Lab. For entry level and experienced students. Utilizing the LEGO Mindstorms Education EV3 Base Set and Software, your team will overcome robotic engineering challenges throughout the session! Combining the versatility of the LEGO building system (the most sophisticated microcomputer brick ever made by LEGO Education) and intuitive drag-and-drop EV3 software, this course will have you and your team programming and engineering robots from day one. Our Forest Kindergarten program is modeled around German Waldkindergartens, in which all of our class time is spent entirely outside! Rolling enrollment continues based on availability Outdoor classrooms naturally create endless learning opportunities for our children to nurture their own curiosity, perhaps by following animal tracks and sign, making wild crafts with leaves and treasures found on the forest floor, or using fallen logs as balance beams. Adult mentors assist in the learning, rather than lead the teachings. This is different from a "nature preschool," which infuses lessons with nature-inspired themes and balances indoor time with outdoor time, as we will be outside the ENTIRE time in all but extreme weather conditions. Proper dress and an adventurous, curious spirit is essential... and we know thats what kids do best! 978-463-2233

We?re getting wild at Arastradero Park this summer with a camp that?s full of adventure and fun in the great outdoors. Well be hiking daily, tracking animals, investigating botanicals, and reliving life styles of the past. Post Camp is available (see our Post Camp section). Sorry, no Pre-Camp is available for this camp. Activities are the same each week during the summer. Camp projects change from year to year, but we do repeat many favorite projects. Use the grade your child JUST COMPLETED in the spring as his/her grade for camp registration.
