All people who attend Beulah Church are invited to come eat and attend event, and any non-hunters are invited to hang out at the cabin during hunt. Open to any kids between the ages of 5 and 11 years-old who attend Beulah Church. All entries must have an adult who is over the age of 21 to accompany them on their hunt. All entries and accompanying adults must sign a release form on day of hunt. Limit one buck and one doe per kid. The hunt will be held at Jumper Lake this year, only a few miles from the church. Each participant is asked to bring their own ATV or 4-wheel drive truck if possible, if not then please let hosts know ahead of time so we can try to make arrangements for you. Summer Intensive Week 2 2016 - Drew University
For teens who loves to write, The Writers Circles Summer Creative Writing Intensives are the perfect place to hone their craft. Students will develop their voices and writing ideas in a generous, creative environment with professional authors as instructors. Each week theyll choose from two different genres to focus on - fiction, poetry, memoir, sci-fi/fantasy, and more. Theyll focus on their own writing projects as well as new work inspired by creative exercises and prompts. Theyll receive supportive, constructive feedback from instructors and peers. Special excursions, guest speakers from the literary world, and a reading on Fridays for family and friends will round out the week. Coding Camp Ses. I - Ensworth School
Boys & Girls, rising 3rd-5th grades Campers will be introduced to basic programming concepts using age-appropriate software and apps. Campers will learn how to create animations and games and will share them with the group. Previous experience not required, but campers should be comfortable using a computer and/ or a tablet. Spring Camp II - Dulles Golf Center
Geared toward junior players new to the game with little or no experience. Juniors will be exposed to all aspects of the game of golf! Instruction includes: grip & setup, woods, irons, short game & putting. Importance of Rules, etiquette and safety. Not Your Typical Cooking Camp - Havens Elementary School
Students will have an amazing week learning, creating, and consuming! During the week long experience, campers will not only make something edible everyday - breads, pretzels, cookies - they learn how people around the world meet their nutritional needs, and how food is produced from farm to table, and look at the history of breads. Campers will come home with a book of nutritious recipes and an increased interest in the kitchen!
