Ever wonder what mysteries lay beneath the waves? Discover the fascinating world of magnificent kelp forests, home to thousands of animals that rely upon the kelp for food, shelter, and survival. Come along and dive into this world with mask and snorkel to explore the diversity of life found within, and discover the many habitats in our Monterey Bay Sanctuary! Pirate Adventure - Wednesday Camp 4-27-16 - PS87 Afterschool Program
Join us as we take to the seas on this thrilling pirate adventure with the Jersey Shore Pirates. Children will be dressed up as a crew of swashbuckling buccaneers, search for hidden treasure, and defend their ship against enemy pirates. Kids will be transported from PS 87 to Jersey Shore Pirates by private school bus, departing at 9 a.m., and returning to PS 87 via school bus by 5 p.m. *In case of inclement weather, we will take the children to Jenkinsons Aquarium in Point Pleasant, New Jersey for a private tour.
June 6-9: Mountain Biking (intermediate ages 8-12) - Mountain Kids!
This week of riding is for intermediate skilled riders who have participated in our spring program, the beginner/intermediate camp, or with permission. Campers will strengthen their riding skills as we explore some of the great trails Santa Fe area has to offer. The Bear Valley Soccer Camp strives to provide the highest level soccer coaching in a setting that feels like an old fashioned summer camp. With our natural setting high in the Sierra, campers are treated to a beautifully manicured natural grass soccer field, swimming in several local lakes and streams, campfires and more. The soccer is serious. The rest if pure fun. 2016 Bear Valley Soccer Camp once again features coaching from Santa Clara University assist.Coach and Recruiting Coordinator Curtis McAlister. Coach McAlister brings with him a coaching crew of Santa Clara Womens Soccer alumni. Learn the Beautiful Game at 7100 in the Central Sierra ski town of Bear Valley. This co-ed camp is for players 9-16. Both overnight and day camp options available. Besides top level soccer instruction, campers experience High Sierra fun with lake kayaking, guided rock climbing, camp fires and plenty of swimming. Accommodations are at the Bear Valley or Base Camp Lodge, which is given entirely over to our camp for the week, with adult supervised separate gender floors. Meals are at the Bear Valley Lodge across the street. Meals are plentiful and nutritious.
