Summit Summer 2015 Summit Summer offers a wide variety of enriching, challenging and fun day camps for 3 year-olds to 10th graders. This summer the program is running for 7 weeks with over 60 camp options. Families may sign up for just one week or spend the summer at Summit! Early morning and late afternoon care are available. Summit Summer gives students chance to learn and have fun. The teachers are qualified professionals with extensive experience in their subject areas and in child development. The atmosphere is welcoming with a majority of non-Summit students participating. The classes are designed for personal attention with low student-teacher ratios. Camps include: baseball, soccer, lacrosse, basketball, golf, art, technology, robotics, photography, reading, music, drama, theatre, science, hiking, rafting, cooking, dance and more! What Are the Activities like at Summer Camp?
The whole point of summer programs is to keep youth busy. Thus, most kids wake up and have breakfast by 8am. Traditional activities include arts and crafts, sports, swimming and boating. There are groups that offer specialized or advanced activities like archery, horseback riding, and sailing. An activity like horseback riding may have an additional cost or require that youth come to camp with special equipment and clothing. Specialty camps have specific classes or activities linked to their mission. For example, academic programs will include classes, religious camps will have Bible study, and leadership-focused programs may have public speaking sessions....

Children's Museum of Evansville Summer Camp 2016 - Evansville, IN
Spark those curious minds and imaginations this summer at the Children’s Museum of Evansville (cMoe!) cMoe camps offer quality experiences and are led by certified teachers. In addition to the weekly themed activities, campers have daily exploration time in our museum. All full-day camps are available to children entering 1st-7th grade for the 2016-2017 school year. Full-day camps begin at 9am and end at 4pm with the option of extended care for only $25 per week. For cMoe members, camp is $135.00 per week! Non-members are $150.00 per week. Early Bird discount until March 25th! Camp themes include: STEM, Art, Wonderful Wizard World, Mad Science, Sleuth Camp and MORE! cMoe Mini Camps: Just for Preschoolers! Experience camp in a safe, structured, FUN environment facilitated by experienced educators. The Salvation Army is hosting a walkathon to raise funds to help send children to summer camp. We offer several camp sessions lasting from three to eight days for children of various ages. Your child will be supervised by caring on-site counselors.There are three types of camping experiences for children ranging in age from six to sixteen which include; residential camps, day camps and teen wilderness camps. Debbie Gantt, Performing Arts Director at Brookwood School, returns! Joined by her son, Dan Gantt, they will direct and produce a high quality musical theater production. Campers will enjoy both individually tailored and group lessons in voice, acting, and dance. At the end of the week, students will perform a musical revue of previously performed Brookwood 8th grade plays. Students will repurpose costumes, sets, and scores. Nothing compares to the joy of cruising through Portland on a bike in the summer. Cruisers get a whole week of expanding their city view by exploring their neighborhood and beyond. Each day campers decide which destinations and parks to explore as a group, developing a sense of teamwork and mutual support along the way. Trips focus on riding safely, crossing intersections, reading maps, and troubleshooting common mechanical problems. Cruisers experience the empowerment of discovering new places through their very own person-powered transportation. As riders challenge themselves each day, many are surprised by how far they can go on two wheels.
