Gymnastics camp at Prestige Gymnastics is the perfect opportunity to test out gymnastics or to get in a little extra practice! We will divide up beginners and intermediates at the time of class. This camp will work on a variety of drills and skills on all 4 Olympic events including vault, bars, beam and floor while gaining a multitude of knowledge in the basics of gymnastics. This camp is an awesome physical activity to get kids off of the couch and keep them moving during the summer! Aside from basic skills, we will be working on conditioning and gaining flexibility, balance and strength. 9 hours of instruction, snacks and a camp t shirt. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Must wear comfortable or athletic clothes, jeans not preferred. 2016 - Camp 4 Kids CIT Try-Outs - Orange, CA
The heartbeat of Camp4Kids is our volunteer staff. After all, without a great staff, who would bring the magic of summer camp to the kids and teens who need it most? Great Counselors aren't just born, they're carefully trained! Our Counselor-in-Training program (CIT for short) is the venue through which we teach teens the skills and expertise necessary to care for campers. CITs must be a minimum of 16-years-old at the time of camp. Though previous camp experience is not required, it certainly helps. After extensive training "down the hill" (outside of camp), CITs are paired with Senior Counselors while in camp, receiving first hand experience and one-on-one training, learning what it takes to be an effective leader while in a supervised and controlled environment. Being a great Counselor comes from years of training as a CIT. Come down and try out! RSVP through private message.

Pottery Camp w/Green Screen Movie, Ages 8-12 - The Yard School of Art At Montclair Art Museum
SummerART Camp Full Day Pottery Program 9:30am to 5pm Pottery Camp with Movie Making with a Green Screen Session I: June 27 to July 8 No camp on Monday, July 4 Pottery Camp This camp is for children who are interested specifically in working with clay to create pottery, sculpture, and more. Campers are grouped in age-specific classes (6 to 8, and 9 to 12). Campers will have the opportunity to use the Museums diverse collection of Native American pottery as inspiration. Much of the work created in Pottery Camp will be kiln fired, some will be functional, some will be decorative, and all of it will be treasured for years to come. Much of this artwork will be displayed at the receptions in Leir Hall at the end of each session. Lachey Arts is proud to work in conjunction with Mariemont Schools to bring music theater to our elementary students. During the 10 week class, students will work on singing, dancing and acting skills. Parents will be invited to the final class to watch the performance. This class is open to students in kindergarten-3rd grade at Terrace Park Elementary. For children going into 2nd and 3rd grade Snakes, frogs and turtles! Campers will be immersed into the habits and characteristics of reptiles and amphibians, including time with live animals. Camp will also include walks, crafts, games and stories.
