Come join other young quilters and make some new friends. Participants will complete a quilt top in this one day class using a simple pattern. Age 10 and up and must own and know how to operate their own sewing machine. Registration fee is $60 (includes fabric and pattern).
Teen Intensive Summer Camp with Mule Pack Trip 2017 - Scotts Valley, C
This 4 week teen intensive is one not to be missed! July 9 - August 5 - fb's events can not be longer than 2 weeks so the correct dates are July 9 - August 5! Our teens love this camp! This camp is a trip and travel camp based out of Southern Oregon. Rappelling, White Water Rafting, Leadership, Firearms Safety Training, Trap Shooting, Basic Hunter Ed, Bow Hunting, Nature Photography, Backpacking, Friction Fire, Fishing, Fly-tying, Hiking, Backcountry Cooking, Horsemanship, Archery, Advanced Scout Training including Wilderness Skills and so much more. The teens will experience all of the same activities our 3 week teen intensive camp has to offer BUT there is a mule and horse packing component preparing the teens to head off on a pack trip putting their learned skills to use with horses and mules the 4th week packing in the Eastern Cascades. Schools out and we have things to do ! Come hang with us for a few hours ! Ages 8 and up unless An adult is going to stay in the class. $25! Gets your child instructed project time in clay and a snack and a drink . Save $5 on registration when you have 3 or more students sign up . ( group discounts apply on the 3 student and up) We're only accepting 30 students per session. Well post the link on Monday . Session Two Class Details - This session student will Paint their previously hand built a bird bath and if they get done in time any bonus item we gifted them ! We're also painting door signs ! Integrated Geometry/Algebra - Ensworth High School
The merging of Algebra 2 and Geometry begins in this course with the continued development of functions and their context within the real number system. Using geometric modeling, this course covers roughly 2/3 of the traditional Geometry course and 1/3 of the traditional Algebra 2 course. Students use the graphing calculator and The Geometers Sketchpad software. PREREQUISITE: Algebra 1 & Ensworth Mathematics Department approval CREDIT: Year lower course credit in Mathematics 615-383-0661

In this fun and focused camp, kids will learn how to arrange a still life and paint what they observe. The camp will explore composition, color mixing, creating texture and patterns, and will review the masters of still life painting and their styles including Impressionism, Expressionism, and Cubism.
