This camp will explore the inner harbor of Redwood City, while learning the basics of water safety, kayaking, outrigger paddling, and stand up paddling (SUP). Each day participants and their instructors will paddle to a different destination around the Harbor learning about the conservation and ecology of Redwood City, while having fun paddling. On Friday, campers will enjoy Kayak and Standup Paddle Board Relay Races. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Price includes Camp T-shirt, goodies and a certificate with group photo. Please bring water resistant sunblock, shorts, windbreaker, towel, and a change of clothes. Water shoes (Aqua Socks/Teva) are recommended. Life jackets will be provided. The Camelback Village Summer Fitness Camps left my children with wonderful memories. They have creative activities for children ages 2 through 12. My 5 year old twin daughters had great stories to share with us after spending time at this camp. Not only did they have fun, but they also learned to cook healthy food! Digital Photography - S2 - Plymouth Community Arts Council
All new projects! Beginning-Intermediate level photographers will learn to optimize the features of their own camera while learning basic to advanced composition, exposure, focus, lighting and printing photos. We will take action, still life and landscape photos, so dress for the weather. We will print final photos and showcase the best in our summer camp art show. Middle School "Budding Stars" Tennis Camp - The Prairie School
A limited number of students who love the game and are willing to work will be enrolled in this class. Students must be entering grades 5 through 8 unless approved by an instructor. Half of the class is instruction and drills, and the other half is supervised play. Again this year, we are excited to offer supervised match-play on Friday mornings, included in the weekly class fee! -- All classes are held on the Prairie School tennis courts, and class sizes are limited. The primary instructor for tennis is Nich Schafer. Private lessons are also available. Osprey Point Advanced Camp - FLEX - Don Law Golf Academy at Osprey Point
3 and 4-Day FLEX Advanced Camp Don Law Golf Academy also offers the option of a FLEX Advanced camp. This option is designed with the summer junior tournament golfer and works with your busy summer schedule. With the FLEX option, you may sign up for a specific week and choose to attend 4 or 3 days within that week, to best suit your schedule. Upon registration, simply choose your preferred 3 or 4-day option and approximately a week before the start of the camp week you will be emailed to determine the exact days your child will be attending camp during that week. The choice of days of the week are yours, making this our most flexible camp option. The Advanced Camp offers serious game improvement for the serious junior golfer. The camp concentrate on instruction which will take a campers game to the next level, with the emphasis on mental conditioning, course management, and the short game. By utilizing tournament-like conditions, campers are taught and tested on those skills identified as being mandatory to successfully compete at even the highest competitive junior golf levels.
