Teen Celtic Camp - Boulder Creek, CA
Ages 13-18, $640 early bird registration. Spend all day playing music in the redwoods, and have a great time singing, dancing, watching Song of the Sea in the meadow, sessioning and improv-ing every night! Before dinner in the late afternoon the pool is open as well as the volleyball court, ping pong table, basket ball and tether ball. Program includes all meals and boarding. Bring bedding, clothes (including swimsuit and jacket), towel, toiletries, bug repellant, sunscreen, your instrument, and music stand. Costumes may be useful, as well as other fun things for the pool and ceilidh as long as they are safe and legal. Theme: Celtic Luau? For players of fiddle, flute, pennywhistle, recorder, oboe, bassoon, harp, guitar, mandolin, banjo, dulcimer, accordion, percussion and cello. Week 4 (6-8) S3 - Space Station Science - iSPACE
Campers delve into life on a space station by probing into multiple science disciplines key to living and conducting research in space. They will touch on astronomy, geology, physics, human physiology and more through engaging experiments and hands-on activities (including LEGO constructions). Theyll use newly acquired knowledge, critical thinking skills and teamwork to solve problems and save the crew during an iMISSION, our interactive simulation where campers take on the role of a scientist/engineer living and working on a lunar base! 513-612-5786
Payette River School - Forest Service Park
Explore raging whitewater in the beautiful Payette River Valley where we will prepare you for problem solving. We mix knowledge of outdoor and Dutch oven cooking, basic medical and emergency evacuation with river knowledge. Learn how to flip a boat back over and get in, how to read water and guide paddle strokes while observing an impressive combination of native birds, fish and wildlife. Weeks of Discovery Grades (PreK-5th) - Ethical Culture
WEEKS OF DISCOVERY is an exciting vacation break program filled with age-appropriate activities for children in Grades PreK – 5th. The program takes full advantage of a gymnasium and rooftop playground as well as the closeness of Central Park. Throughout the week, children investigate themes incorporated into art, science, and nature activities and share their discoveries with each other. These themes are expanded in other activities, including sports, games, music, movement, storytelling, drama, and cooking. Under the supervision of experienced counselors, children also go on special outings and adventures. Although each child is part of a smaller peer group of similar ages, every child is also a member of the larger group. This gives each child a different and special kind of social and learning experience. Children have fun, exciting days, but there is always time for relaxation, reflection, and individual pursuits. Wild Outdoors Adventure Nature Camp - EcoAdventures
Wild Outdoors Adventure Nature Camp July 5th – 7th 9am – 4pm $245 Ages 8+ *limited participants to go in our Snake ECO Van Campers will experience the wild outdoors with this specialty camp. They will spend the day at one of our local parks (Kinder Farm, Quiet Waters/Downs Park, Sandy Point). We will be hitting the trails and learning compass, navigation, survival, & animal tracking skills. Knot tying is also in order for this camp. Campers will get a chance to go fishing and make their very own fishing poles. Try your luck at crabbing and maybe even kayaking? Set up turtle traps and help with turtle research at Kinder Farm Park, then make a splash with catching critters through seining and seeing what is out in our own Chesapeake Bay.
