Taking a summer choir course is a great way to learn how to sing properly with a group while enjoying the music you listen to on the radio today! We will study proper vocal technique using effective warm-ups and exercises to explore our voice. Then we will put it all to work with fun arrangements of pop songs of today. Attention all home schoolers ages 13-18! You are cordially invited to this year's banquet. Dinner, Dancing, Fellowship, and Fun will be on the books for our Once Upon A Time themed banquet. Kid's Yoga Summer Camp! June 15 - 19 - South Daytona, FL
The intention of kid’s Yoga Camp is to teach children about the different places, people, animals, that live around the world. Going into a Journey with Yoga and learning it meaning “Union”, bringing this concept through physical activities games, arts and crafts, storytelling, puppets and more. Children will explore this Journey in a cooperative relationship, learning about friendship, happiness, kindness, honesty, passion, self-esteem and gratitude. This class combines storytelling and Computer Science. Campers learn the basics of green-screen photography and stop-motion animation as they bring to life the environments and characters that are created in a digital short film! Campers will be instructed on how to visualize their own story and create a visual representation through direct application on the computer. (804) 727-9817
Jr. Scientist - San Juan Del Rio Catholic School
The Jr. Scientist Camp covers a broad range of fun and exciting science topics such as: Chemistry, Biology, Physics and Lab Process Skills. This camp is perfect for the child who has a general interest in science and wants an exciting "sampler" camp! Campers learn all about the Scientific Method, how to observe and document changes with their experiments day to day, how to measure, and more! Sample Projects: Grow - Beast Experiment! Wacky Window Paint! Super Bouncing Balls! Cosmic Rocket! Wurmz and Dirt! Driving Submarines! Our camps are 9am-4pm with pre and post camp options available as well! Consider sediment densities to determine optimal treasure burial, become a pirate cartographer while making your own treasure map, experiment with eye dominance to determine eye patch orientation, design a boat to withstand the high seas, and go geocaching to find buried treasure Take a short sailing trip on a 23 foot Sonar to look into wind generation for guaranteed quick getaways. Includes: geocaching, sailing, 1 boat trip & snorkeling 860-535-9362
