Youth Day Camp - Rexburg, ID
Basketball Day Camp for youth (boys and girls) ages 7 - 15. Hosted by Idaho Slam Jam, featuring four professional basketball players, Tammy Brawner, Chris Staples, Zig Zag, and Werm. There will be two sessions at $25 per session. Session fees cover the camp, a camp t-shirt, and one ticket for the family BBQ between sessions. Morning session starts at 10am, and the afternoon starts at 1pm. BBQ is at noon. Additional BBQ tickets can be purchased online for $5 each.

Teen Camp - Escondido, CA
Projected registration opening date: April 5, 2017 Teen Camp is open to all teens with or without previous experience with mindfulness, meditation, or camping. This is a special time for all teenagers–please come and join! During this retreat, we will come together as brothers and sisters to develop skills that help us learn to be alive in the present moment and to connect deeply with ourselves and others. When we learn to be mindful, a whole new world appears. Activities will include walking meditation, eating in mindfulness, participating in periods of noble silence, sitting meditation, dharma presentations, sharing in groups, Deep Relaxation Meditation, joyful service, games, and hiking. Other activities we may include are morning exercise, drinking tea meditation, and a performance night. We will stay in large tents (around 5 teens per tent). Teen girls will be assigned to a tent in Clarity Hamlet Oak Grove and teen boys to a tent in the Solidity Hamlet Campground. There will be monastic and lay staff members staying in both campgrounds. The monastery will provide tents, but we ask everyone to bring their own sleeping bags and sleeping mats. Participants are expected to attend the entire retreat and all activities. Youth Winter Weightlifting Camp - Waunakee, WI
We are pleased to announce an upcoming Youth Weightlifting Camp, hosted by two USAW Certified Coach’s. This is a great opportunity for local kids during their winter break, plus it is for all levels. The online sign up, for this 2 day clinic, is attached below. We will also have t-shirts, tank tops, or a hat for each registered attendee. Strength training for kids should consist of skills, coordination, stability, movement, agility, kinesthetic awareness, flexibility and balance. This should include big muscle groups that utilize body weight movements and free weights with light, manageable loads. Things like Olympic weightlifting, gymnastics and plyometric movements. If these exercises and movement patterns are taught at a young age, the athlete will have a greater advantage in technique as they progress in age and strength. Our Youth Weightlifting Camp is December 28-29th from 9am til 11am both days, for ages 7-17, and again for all levels.

Technique Swim Academy is a summer swim camp at Harvard University for children who are interested in swimming at the club, high school or collegiate level, as well as those interested in the sport for recreation. Supervised by Harvard Head Coaches Stephanie Morawski and Kevin Tyrrell and Northeastern Head Coach Roy Coates, Technique Swim Academys roster of experienced instructors teach campers proper swim technique and help them achieve their personal best through concentrated swimming instruction. Each day, we focus on one competitive stroke and reinforce technique through demonstrations, practice drills and daily videotape sessions. Camp Cordovas Sports Adventure. Camp Cordova is hosting a specialty day camp at Lincoln Village Park. This day camp is perfect for the extremely active child ages 8-11.
