What I like about this camp is my kids can choose between a day camp (for ages 5-12), an overnight camp (for ages 9-13) or a specialty camp (ages 11-17). One day commuter Sunday, June 26 - Cliff Keen Arena
The Michigan Coed College Prep Camp includes two full days of instruction conducted in a low-pressure, safe, and fun environment on the University of Michigan campus. You will benefit greatly from this camp if you are interested in trying out as a college cheerleader anywhere across the nation and especially at the University of Michigan. Emphasis will be placed on individual instruction in coed partner stunting as well as tumbling, dance, strength and flexibility. We aim to ensure individualized attention and safety for each camper. It is the intent of the entire University of Michigan Cheer Team Staff to provide each camper with the best possible atmosphere in which to learn and sharpen their cheer skills. The techniques and skills that we will help you develop will give you a big head start over your competitors. Students will learn about project design, object-oriented programming, console applications, graphics applications and many elements of the Java language. Students will build on what they learn each day. This includes learning how to program frames, colors and programming moving objects. The week begins with simple programming until it builds by the end where students will be able to create the game of pong in Java. No programming experience is necessary but doing common tasks on a computer is useful. Who knows, maybe you have the next Bill Gates or Steve Jobs living in your house and you never knew it! Intro: The soccer club will focus skill base practices instead of playing a game. The ultimate goal of this club is to recruit players for the YSCP soccer team. Students will learn positions, strategies and ball controlling. Bio: Frank Ayata has been with YSCP since 2007 as business manager. He loves playing and teaching soccer. He has been playing soccer since his childhood. This year marks his fourth year with Extended Day Soccer Club. He is involved with many extracurricular activities at the YSCP such as Skiing Club, and International trips to Costa Rica, Nicaragua and Turkey. 10th 2016 Camp Buckaroo WINTER BREAK 3 Day Camp - Blue Point Stables
This Camp is a 3 (Three) Day Buckaroo Winter Break Day Camp. Camp begins each day at 9:00 EST and ends at 4:00 pm in the afternoon. Campers will be assigned a horse to ride and to care for. In the larger enrollment classes, campers share assigned horses. Activities that the campers will be involved with are... Riding Lessons (generally twice a day, weather permitting) Grooming, Stall Care & Management, Equine Characteristics, Arts and Crafts and Horse Husbandry including some Horse Health and Welfare. Plus, making friends or renewing relationships with new and returning campers alike. Campers have the option to purchase and challenge the test for a CHA riding level. Campers receive the appropriate CHA Riding Level Book. Successful campers are awarded the appropriate Certificate, Patch and Pin. Campers falling below the testing standards are allowed to retest once for no additional charge. Day campers will need to bring appropriate clothing for each day, to include layered warm clothing + GLOVES on cold days and rain gear when needed, as well as, their lunches, snacks and drinks for each day.
