Science of Spirituality, Minnesota, is happy to announce Youth Angels Day Camp 2016 for children and adults. Youth Angel Day Camp is a one day Wintertime indoor Meditation Camp. It is open to children of ages between 5 and 15 and their families. All adults are welcome to join the adult workshop. This camp allows everyone to explore deep inner nature of human being as a spirit/soul. It helps children balance physical and mental learning through meditation, developing spiritual understanding of self and build foundation of being a better human being. We try to make it fun filled so children stay interested and focused while learning a subject that seems difficult. The camp will include meditation, workshops for children and adults, activities including yoga, indoor games, music and pizza. We encourage parents to register and join their children so it becomes a great memorable event for the entire family. Camp Yolo - Adult Summer Camp Sept - Long Weekend - San Francisco, CA
Hey Friends all work and these Adult camps posts has me wanting to go to camp. PROBLEM: No adult camp in SF area (aside from a digital detox hippy thing) SOLUTION: Organize One. If we get enough interest will make it happen, will decide in 1 week. Need like 200+ Yes's and I will get the wheels in motion. CONCEPT: Adult Summer Camp All the fun + the booze Think meeting new people, activities like swimming,canoeing, rock wall, sports, slip n slide flip cup, arts crafts, cooking class, and etc. Broken into teams, olympics style, dancing under stars all night, talent show, etc. Was inspired by Camp No Counselors check it out to get an idea - https://vimeo.com/99644036 It'd be $299 - 349 estimated PP for transport, accommodation, catered food, activities + TShirt ;) + OPEN BAR all 3 Days. Skills in the visual arts are built in the same way as learning to play a musical instrument or sport: by practicing and training, and by challenging you with new techniques and ideas. In Drawing and Discovery, young artists ages 6-11 will explore fundamental concepts of line, texture, shading, and color through the fun, creative, and age-appropriate projects. Students will try their hand at figure drawing, portraits, volume and perspective, and experiment with professional art materials. Students will work independently or as a group according to their age, level of experience, personal interest and individual artistic style. Note: This class will be offered continuously during the year, allowing students to progressively develop skills in visual literacy, perception and creativity progressively. This camp is designed for setters that have experience and are looking to take their game to a higher level. Campers will work on the specifics of becoming a more advanced and consistent setter and will run drills designed to set them apart from their fellow competitors. Setters will get a lot of reps to help refine their skills they already have, and learn techniques necessary to set at a high level. Setters will work on jump setting, consistency, deceptive setting, attacking the second ball, and advanced transition drills. Instructor Bio: Rei Jackler is an Oakland arts educator, design teacher, writer, and maker nerd. She holds a Masters in Teaching from Stanford University, where she also trained in Design Thinking at the D.School. In Oakland, she is currently Makerspace Manager for the La Escuelita Elementary School Makerspace, and has also taught design with Chapter 510. Rei loves making of all kinds: knitting multi-colored scarves, writing fantastical short stories, and baking with a lot of chocolate.
