The Fall edition of our Teen Power Camp provides a fundamental fitness foundation for any high school student, scaled to anyone from first timers just trying to get into shape to high school athletes looking for structured off-season training or additional in-season work. The Teen Power Program will introduce athletes to bodyweight exercises, gymnastics, powerlifting and basic olympic weightlifting, all while under the close supervision of a certified CrossFit instructor. Our goal is to teach local Teens how to safely and efficiently move their body and external objects (bars, kettlebells, medicine balls, etc) through space, dramatically improving body composition and improving athletic ability in anyone. Our program is designed to increase stamina, strength, power, endurance, coordination, balance, accuracy and flexibility in any person, all while in a team environment filled with positive people. Every workout is scaled to ANY teens capacity. Teens must be at least 13 years of age and emotionally mature. We will experiment with various tools and glazes as students express themselves through creativity and color in this fun and functional 3D art form. Develop individual and team skills in a fun and positive environment. Become a better lacrosse player and let loose with Coach Mitchell and his fun-loving staff. Players will be placed on even teams and game and tournament play will be designed to spark competition and teach sportsmanship. Techsplosion is a hands-on STEM enrichment program in the San Francisco Bay Area. Since 2010, our passionate instructors have served over 1,500 students at over 50 bay area locations. We balance computer time with fun outdoor activities and themed games. Our Minecraft and Video Game Design camps are the most computer intensive but in all full-day programs we schedule approximately 2 hours of outdoor time per day. In addition to that, we have many non-computer activities, particularly in the camps for younger age groups like Junior Minecrafters and Minecraft Challenge.
