Teen Week Overnight Camp - Fort Worth, TX
Teen week was so much fun during 2016, we have added it again for 2017. This is a special session only for those 13 and older. Space will be limited and run at a lower number of campers than traditional sessions. This week will focus on activities designed for older campers. At YMCA Camp Carter Overnight Camp, campers live, play and build deep bonds with their peers. Campers must rely on the others in their cabin groups to share daily responsibilities. Teen Week Overnight Camp, runs from Sunday afternoon until Friday evening and includes 15 meals and overnight accommodations in a fully climate controlled cabin with lots of supervision by our well trained staff.
CLOVER KID Day Camp - Osceola, NE
Join us for a fun afternoon of meeting new friends and doing some cool Clover Kid Creations at the Osceola City Park! CK will learn about floriculture with flowers, textiles with t shirts, art in the park and make their own snack! Everything you make, you can bring to exhibit at the Polk County Fair in the Clover Kids project area! We will be learning about the needs of nature, having fun with flowers, as well as making lots of fun projects and a t shirt for the Polk County Fair!! Cost is $15 per Clover Kid!
Young adults/ teen camping trip - Hume, CA
We will be going up to hume lake to enjoy this world God has given us. We can have 18 people go and take up to 6 vehicles.

ACADEMIC - INTRODUCTION TO ROBOTICS - Notre Dame Academy
This course will teach students the basics of the history of robotics, along with key components of robots and how they developed over time. Following completion of short web research work, students will work in teams to learn to build robots, to program them and to use various sensors to make them "smart." As students progress, using Lego Mindstorm EV3 kits, they will learn to create more "sophisticated" robots that can do things the simpler ones cannot. Students will be graded on their knowledge of robot history and their components, as well as on their ability to complete specific exercises with the robots. This "hands-on "course is not only fun, but is a great learning experience! STUDENTS MAY ACCRUE NO MORE THAN TWO, (2), ABSENCES IN ORDER TO RECEIVE CREDIT FOR THIS COURSE. ***CREDIT IS GUARANTEED FOR NDA STUDENTS ONLY.
