For the creative rider who derives their inspiration from the bicycle, this is the camp to let their imagination go wild. From small trinkets to a funky custom bike, the possibilities are endless. Campers comb over unserviceable bikes, salvage parts that inspire them, and breathe new life into them by fashioning their own bike-based crafts. Time tends to be split evenly between rides and crafts. For rising PK-SK students (must be 3 years old by June 1) Fit kids are happy kids! This camp will engage children with fun and friendly activities all week long, as well as educate them on the importance of living a healthy lifestyle with exercise and nutrition. Camp consists of a warm up, balance, sports, aerobics, agility, flexibility, rhythm, nutrition education and coordination. Sign up for KidFit and have a happy, healthy camper all week! Maker Station-Fine Arts - Amador Elementary School
MAKER STATION Come build with us this summer! Your child will be working with a variety of materials in a STEAM maker station. Students will create their own science or art projects. They will also deconstruct items and study reverse engineering to examine how things work. Our station includes beginning snap circuits, Brackitz bionic blocks, and an introduction to coding when we build mazes for our very own Bee-Bot robot. As an added bonus in the station, we also have GoldieBlox kits to encourage more girls to get excited about building. The Maker Station encourages creativity, exploration, and innovation. Players of all levels and positions are encouraged to attend. Campers should pack a peanut free lunch and water bottle daily.
