National Comedy Theatre Teen Improv Summer Camps! - San Diego, CA
TEENS AGE 14 - 17 Two-Week Improv Summer Camp Sessions! July 25 - August 5th AND August 8th - 19th The National Comedy Theatre is now registering for our annual Summer Improv Comedy Camp where we give our students the opportunity to explore the worlds of improv and sketch writing! Much like NCT’s professional team, our group of students will quickly form an ensemble of performers, working together to develop their skills and, ultimately, build a quality performance that friends and family will be invited to attend at our theatre in San Diego. What Do The Parents Think? "It's hard to find a great summer camp for teen-agers...NCT kept my daughter laughing, learning and meeting new friends. The teachers are fantastic, positive and really encouraging. We're definitely coming back!"
Kid's Camp at VT People's Convention - Montpelier, VT
This Spring the Vermont People’s Convention will bring hundreds of people together as a critical step in building a unified movement for healthy communities and a just society. On April 30 & May 1st at Montpelier High School, individuals and organizations working for disability rights, racial justice, immigrant rights, climate justice and labor unions will come together for a weekend to share, learn and take action together. The organizers of the convention are working hard to make this an intergenerational event with a parallel Youth Activism Summit for teens, and a Kid’s Camp for children 12 and under. To make lasting and far reaching change we need the participation of Grandparents, Parents and their Children! The Kid’s Camp at the People’s Convention will not only provide quality childcare, but will be a fun space for kids to learn about and participate in creating a more just and vibrant world. Through stories and activities, kids will have opportunities to learn and think critically about various struggles for human rights and dignity. With art projects, cooperative games, and nature exploration kids will be encouraged to express themselves and make friends. Mentors and educators are committed to making the Kid’s Camp accessible to as many families...
