Basketball - MGB Spring Break Camp - Serrano Intermediate
Don?t just sit at home during Spring break! Join Coach Marv Lim & MGB in this 4 day basketball camp, tournament and carnival. Each day, players will learn how to dribble, pass, shoot with balance, as well as learning proper defense using the most efficient and easy to understand drills. Players will play basketball games each day. On the last day, campers will participate in MGB?s trademark basketball carnival with TONS OF PRIZES and will play in a tournament complete with referees and scoreboard. This is an awesome event for kids who want to start playing basketball and for existing players who want to enhance their basketball knowledge & fundamentals! Campers will be divided according to skill level. Please bring a light snack each day, exercise clothing and a basketball. Learn how to sew this summer! In this camp, you will learn how to use a sewing machine, how to read and layout a pattern, how to cut fabric and how to sew everything together. This class will be fun and very hands on - we will start sewing the first day! We will make pajama pants, a tote bag and a zippered bag. Patterns will be provided by the instructor. Dont have a sewing machine? Rental machines will be available for classroom use. A materials list will be provided one week before camp. Study the works of living and historic composers to understand how other composers think and solve problems. Receive coaching from MacPhail composition faculty on recent and current works. Hear your compositions performed by professional musicians. You will be asked to submit a score for review prior to the camp. Space is limited, register early! Students in the Composition Camp may opt to also enroll the in the optional Composition Camp Elective: Theory and Counterpoint for an additional fee.
