ORIGINS Youth Camp 2016 - Sparks, OK
Parents the Youth have chosen Camp #2 which is May 30th - June 3rd. I know it seems far away but we MUST have an idea on a head count so we can go ahead and get our week reserved. It will more than likely be 100% full within a week so we would choose week #3 which is June 6th-June 10th. THE KIDS are choosing Camp #2 because of the speaker we had last year will be at Camp #2. Please chat with your YOUTH AS SOON AS POSSIBLE and let me know by this Wedneday if at all possible. I would like to send in the registration fee for each kid this week to reserve our spots. Then we can work over the next 3-4 months fundraising and hopefully again fund each kid 100% like last year. If you have any questions please feel free to call, text or email me. The Youth Steering Committee of the Episcopal Diocese of Indianapolis invite youth in grades 6-12 and adult chaperons to register for the upcoming Diocesan Youth Fall Conference at Waycross! This year's theme is "Moving from Stress to Success." This weekend event offers youth from across the Diocese the opportunity to share together in plenary session, special worship, workshops, and choice activities while connecting with friends, new and old. Go back in time and build your own electric powered T-Rex Roller Coaster. Thrills await as we battle gravity, take curves & land our riders safely. Our theme this year is Treasures Across America." Our students will learn about the our great nation by traveling cross country. We will make stops in all 50 states learning about uniqueness and history of each state. In addition to age appropriate literature and arts and craft projects, campers will have an in-house field trip once a week. We will be visited by The Nature of Things, Greenburgh Nature Center, Mad Science, The Maritime Aquarium, Dinosaurs Rock and more! Children also have the opportunity to enjoy plenty of outdoor fun, with water play and games on our secure school playground. The Care Bear Camp will consist of Nine One-Week sessions running from June 13th - August 12th. 9143373202.0
