LATEST CAMPS NEWS: Jr. High 1 (Girl Registration) - Pioneer Bible Camp
Jr. High 1 is still a combined camp. Registration of male and female campers is separate for processing purposes. We offer two Jr. High camps. Both of these weeks are filled with new activities as well as other favorites, including White War, horseback riding (hour and a half trail ride), basketball and sand volleyball. Allow the Lord to challenge you in your relationship with Him as you study the Bible with your counselor and camp speaker. Please note that paintball is not offered for this age group. 801-546-6672

Our goal is to refresh your children spiritually as well as socially before returning back to school. This will be a great opportunity for all of us to get connected and stay connected for years to come. Promised Land Ministries is a Christian based organization that holds retreats for an array of different ministries including youth. We have joined together with them to create an eventful, fun-filled experience for August. Our days will be packed with loads of fun outdoor activities, balanced out with daily devotions and small group breakout sessions. We will be camping in tents so please be aware. This retreat is for members only between the ages of 12-18. Young film enthusiasts learn how to make documentaries in a safe and fun environment. Learn story development, camera operation, lighting, sound, interviewing, editing and work with a real orchestra to score your final film. Invite your friends and family to watch your final documentary on screen. The campers will work with the music students in the film scoring program during the AFA's 2016 Summer Music Conservatory at Pershing Middle School. Our older campers will start their day at Cipriani School with camp activities and a healthy snack. Monday-Thursday they will head to Highlands Recreational Center in Footsteps vans and buses for a 1/2 hour swim lesson and 1-2 hour free swim. After swimming, campers head back to Cipriani for snack and afternoon activities. On Fridays campers will travel to Aqua Adventure Water Park in Fremont for a day of fun in the sun! NEW FOR THIS YEAR, each camper enrolled in swim camp will receive a Footsteps Sun Protective long sleeve rashguard-style swim shirt to wear while in the pool. 650-610-0715

As kids grow and mature, they sometimes begin to lessen the value of imagination within the context of their writing. This workshop will teach your children appropriate methods by which they can explore creative writing in academic and non-academic settings. Most importantly, it will remind them to value and nurture their imaginations. Activities will include journaling, community creativity circles, character creation, short story drafting, and more. Mr. Chuck Wagner earned his MA in English from the University of Kansas and his MFA from Indiana University. Price Includes $100 lab fee Campers will explore aerial robotics technology with fun and engaging educational scenarios and challenges. This camp offers aviation flight skills and interactive robotics training, and encourages camper interest in the career fields of Science, Math, and Engineering. Campers will build prototypes with the new technology and run test scenarios for safety, search, and rescue. Multiple teams of four will apply technology and planning to build a quad rotor designed for a specific first responder mission. Missions include: delivering pharmaceuticals to people in a disaster area, maneuvering the copter close to a (mock) hazardous waste container, and searching for a lost hiker.
