Drama Camp, Week 3 - Kings Christian Academy
Have a budding thespian in your family? This two-week program will give kids an opportunity to explore the multifaceted world of drama. Students are sure to have a blast playing daily improvisational games. After learning some basic acting skills, they will get hands-on experience developing a character. They will also be able to try their hands at many of the various aspects of theatre, including directing, stagecraft, costume design, stage make-up, playwriting, and… stage combat! (Dont worry parents. Its just pretend!) Finally, they will have a chance to show off their skills at the conclusion of the camp in a performance for their families and friends. 301-994-3080

Montessori Atrium Parent Toddler Group 18-36 Months The parent-toddler group meets once a week in the All Saints Montessori Toddler Atrium environment. Children accepted into the program are ages 18-36 months and must be accompanied by parent. Children need not be potty trained to be accepted into our program. Children explore activities of Practical Life, Sensorial and Language materials along with seasonal presentations of the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd with the aid of a Montessori atrium guide. Parents observe and learn together with their children gaining insights into supporting their childs growth and development, nurturing the whole child. A Montessori book group, parenting support and exploration of creating a Montessori space in the home as an aid to the child are discussed. There are no refunds once the program begins. Little Bands Music Camp 2 weeks Grades 3-12 - Clague Middle School
LITTLE BANDS CAMP! Grades 3-12. Campers will learn and perform ?The Eruption of the Great Volcano?, an exciting original musical composed by Josh Grekin. Everyone will learn to play instruments and even write and perform their own songs which we will add to the show! In a Little Bands musical, the characters are all musicians and the actors accompany each other on the instruments as they sing, act and dance. Whether you are already advanced, or just beginning, everyone will learn vocal lessons and skills on piano, guitar, bass and drums. From Rick Riordans popular The Lightning Thief series, this is your chance to experience Camp Half-Blood as the children of the Olympians did themselves! Take part in epic games of capture the flag on local ranches and learn more about Greek Mythology. Campers can expect to participate in intense battles, missions, experiments, and plenty of nature exploration. Well spend some time exploring the new Magnus Chase series, as well!
