This summer we will be going to camp on week 10. That will be August 3rd – 8th. The evangelist will be Tom Farrell. Every teen and junior is invited to join us for summer camp. Teen campers must be 12 years old by September 1, 2015 and junior campers must be at least 9 years old by September 1, 2015. The cost for teen campers is $345.00, if you register before February 1st you will save $50.00 The cost for junior camp is $335.00, if you register before February 1st you will save $50.00 This year you can register online and just be sure to join your registration up with Calvary Baptist Church of New Bern.

Your West Circle Drive Hy-Vee is offering a series of cooking classes designed to teach teens (age 12-17) essential cooking skills! Teens will be able to eat their creations at the end of the class. Classes will be held every Thursday 11:00 – 12:30pm for five weeks starting July 14th. July 14th: Knife skills and cooking basics: chef salads Classes will be taught in our DISH classroom by the in-store dietitian and one of our talented chefs. Fees: $25 per class OR $100 for entire 5-week series, due on date of registration. Registration required at least 72 hours prior to scheduled class. In this interdisciplinary class, students will look at and analyze the work of Edgar Degas. Students will experiment with similar postures, movements and phrases in relation to Degas work. This is a great opportunity for students to re-interpret the artwork through movement. No dance experience required. Students should wear comfortable clothing and socks.
