(NEW) Wood Turning 1: Make a Baseball Bat (855 W16) - Former Adrian Training School
Learn to turn your own baseball bat. Students will learn the basics of wood spindle turning. Learn safe shop practices and procedures that will make woodturning safe and fun. Students will take home a baseball bat. Students will walk away with a basic understanding of how to operate and maintain a wood lathe and wood turning tools. Students will be allowed open studio time on Sundays during the week of class. On this day, students are welcome to come to the shop and use the tools to catch up and refine the classroom project. This course teaches the building blocks of coding through MITs Scratch Jr. video game design platform.
