KidSport Combo Camp Ages 7-13 6/27-7/1 Tennis/Golf - Scarlett Middle School
[] Grades 7 - 13 Full Day Combo (Ages 7-13) Children must bring morning and afternoon snack, lunch, water bottle, sunscreen, swimsuit, towel, goggles and wear tennis shoes. Campers bring snacks, lunch and beverage. Lunchtime supervision provided. Director: Kerry Winkelseth, UM School of Kinesiology. Full Day, Monday-Friday. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Curbside Pick-up and Drop-off. Staff will pick up campers from your car at 8:00 AM and deliver back to your car at 4:00 PM. KidSport offers children the opportunity to learn and refine non-competitive sport-specific, team building and social skills. The activities are age appropriate and developed by experts in childrens physical education. KidSport is staffed by certified teachers as well as physical education and education majors focused on providing a first-rate experience for your kids! Tiny Torches Gymnastics - St. Agnes Academy-St. Dominic School
For rising PK boys & girls Catch the Olympic spirit and join us this summer for our Tiny Torches Gymnastics Camp. This camp is designed to introduce the littlest all-stars to the sport of gymnastics in a fun, age-appropriate format. Classes will challenge gross motor skill development such as hopping, skipping, and jumping, enhance balance, improve coordination and introduce fundamental of gymnastics. This camp will include instruction in balance beam & floor exercise. We will emphasize developing strength, flexibility and coordination through daily games, challenges and activities. Begin here & join the Road to Rio for 2016 Olympic Year! Daily Olympic games and relays played with prizes and end of camp participation medals will be included. Robotics - Seattle Preparatory School
Do you think you can solve a highly interactive robotics game? Would you like to create an effective scoring robot both using tele-operated mode and autonomous mode using the VEX IQ Design system? If you answered yes to those questions, this is the camp for you! Students will learn how to design effective robots, overcome design challenges, and effectively use motors, gears and sensors in a winning combination to create a robot. On the last day of camp, participants will run their robots in a real competition in front of friends and family! VEX IQ robotics design system will be used to learn the art of engineering, science and programming. Willem Scholten is Seattle Preps robotics coach. He is passionate about introducing kids through hands-on learning, to the wonderful world of Robotics. Why Robotics? It is a perfect way to teach students about teamwork and to have them experience the wonders of applied math, physics, biology and the sciences in general, as well as computers and the arts (STEAM). 2063240400.0
