Unique Summer Camp offerings for children 4-15 years old including our brand new pre-school half-day camp. All campers will enjoy a week of art-filled experiences using selected weekly themes, including stories, songs, and games. Teen offerings include GLASS, ANIMATION, JEWELRY, PHOTOGRAPHY, CLAY and MORE! All campers will work on take home projects, collaborative pieces and community art projects. Tentatively scheduled for 29-31 January 2016, the Youth Leaders Summit, or YLS, is a consolidated Troop JLT that is conducted annually - the 2016 event will take place at Camp Crooked Creek. YLS should be attended by youth in the rank of 2nd Class or above and be newly elected leaders, or expected to become leaders within their troop. The training emphasizes YOUTH leadership of a troop, the Patrol Method, youth leadership positions and duties, basic problem solving and other principles of youth leading youth. Class size is limited to 30 Scouts, so be sure to register early!

Inviting all young talents (6-18yr) to attend an afternoon of learning and fun! This camp is designed for beginner to intermediate dancers. Our focus will be: "Mambo" and "Samba" -Learn Balance -Timing -Transitions -Movement -Partnering -Teamwork The camp will be broken into section classes. Youth will be taught a fun choreography during the camp, having the option to perform at a later date. This class gives students a real opportunity, as artists to explore the topic of identity and Family. The results have been creative and exciting. They have the chance to visualize old and new themes that inform the viewer and surprised the artists. This is a very special class that promotes communications about self-realization through the visual arts, in a safe and supportive environment. Bring your American Girl doll to camp with you, and together, you can tell a story! Using iMovie, you will create a short video starring your AG doll(s)! Create a script, choose costumes, build scenery, shoot footage, edit your scenes, etc. Learn the basics of iMovie while having fun with your AG dolls. While morning activities are geared toward the American Girl theme, all weekly FSMH camps include a trip to the pool Monday-Thursday for a swim lesson and play time. Full day campers will also have a choice in the afternoon to play outdoor games or work on arts and crafts.
