The Middle School Band program is designed to accommodate musicians ranging from the most talented and proficient to the less experienced, with a minimum of one year of training on their chosen instrument. It is open to entering grades 7, 8 or 9. The concert bands are conducted by outstanding band directors from around the state. This session provides an excellent opportunity for young musicians to improve their individual performance skills. Instruction includes rehearsals, sectionals, master classes, supervised practice, and optional private lessons. Students who have completed the 8th grade may register for Middle School and/or High School Band Camp 512-232-2080

My daughter wouldn't miss going to this Lutheran camp!
This Lutheran Bible Camp is one of the oldest summer camps in America. It was founded in 1926, and is my daughter’s favorite camp. She has fun meeting other youth while strengthening her faith. She also enjoys swimming, arts and crafts and singing around the camp fire. We make sure to plan other summer activities around this summer camp time, so she won't have to miss going to camp.

Parents are welcome to stay and volunteer or drop off children for the camp. Volunteers will be background checked at the expense of Good Shepherd Church. Well keep your child happy and busy with swim lessons, free swim, sports, arts and crafts, music and special events each week. Extended Camp hours are available for this camp where children enjoy an afternoon snack, more specialized activities and an additional swim period. This camp meets at Greenwood Park. INSTRUCTOR: CALLEN ZIMMERMAN Textiles for Teens is a gallery-based program at the Brooklyn location of the Textile Arts Center. This hands-on class explores students personal artistic interests right in the midst of our Artist in Residence studios, and will provide full access to our dye lab, screen printing facilities, sewing machines, looms, & more. Students will be able to draw inspiration from the eight resident artists and designers evolving work in fine arts, fashion design, and home textiles, and gain insight into the endless possibilities within the world of textiles. Camp Cordovas Sports Adventure. Camp Cordova is hosting a specialty day camp at Lincoln Village Park. This day camp is perfect for the extremely active child ages 8-11. Enjoy weekly themes and field trips, along with a variety of camp-style sports games & adventure activities with an emphasis on fun, learning, and participation. Campers will also explore a variety of aquatic games and daily swimming at the Lincoln Village pool. Camp hours are 8am-4pm with extended hours available from 4pm-6pm. Theme: Flags and Tags Field Trip: Folsom Aquatic Center Enjoy playing tag? What about a game with flags? Join us as we explorer games that include a combination of both tagging and grabbing flags such as Chaos and Gatorball.
